Mark a target, causing your initiative attacks to generate malice when they hit or critically hit your mark. Lose all malice when the mark ends or when this skill is recast on a new target.
Malice is only gained once per skill use.

Notes[edit]

Cannot be used on large object-based foes such as Octovine.
  • Your character will occasionally shout out one of the following lines upon using this skill: "Target's marked"; "You're in my sights"; "Contract accepted".
  • Upon the death of a Marked target:
    • Your current stolen skill will be removed.
    • Your character will occasionally shout the line: "Contract complete".
  • Any related traits which affect Steal also affect Deadeye's Mark, as it replaces and inherits from it.
  • Deadeye's Mark cannot be activated without a target.

  • Deadeye's Mark is no longer removed when the deadeye goes into the downed state.
May 08, 2018
  • Malice no longer generates over time.
    • Instead, 1 malice is gained whenever the player hits their marked target with a skill that has an initiative cost, and they can gain an additional 1 malice if that skill critically hits.
    • These gains can only occur once per skill use.
    • Malice no longer increases damage to the player's marked target.
February 06, 2018
  • This skill no longer drains malice when marking the same target again.
  • Reduced the recharge from 30 seconds to 25 seconds.
  • Increased the mark duration from 25 seconds to 30 seconds.
