Chilled is a condition that makes characters appear blue tinted, move 66% slower and skills recharge ~40% slower. For every 1.66 seconds chilled, only 1 second of cooldown will have expired. Chilled deals defiance bar damage at a rate of 33 per second. Chilled has a maximum duration of 10 seconds.

- Lesser Spinal Shivers (Chill of Death) — Chill your target and remove up to three boons, dealing extra damage based on the number of boons removed.
- Chilling Nova (Chilling Nova) — Create a nova at the target that damages and chills nearby foes.
Traits that improve chilled
- Glacial Heart (Virtues) — Mighty Blow becomes Glacial Blow. Heal when you disable, immobilize, or chill a foe. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
- Abyssal Chill (Corruption) — When you chill a foe, you also inflict torment on them.
- Leg Specialist (Tactics) — Immobilize a target when you cripple them with a skill. Deal increased strike damage to foes affected with movement-impairing conditions.
- Predator's Onslaught (Marksmanship) — You and your pet deal increased strike damage to disabled, defiant, or movement-impaired foes. Affected conditions are stun, taunt, daze, cripple, fear, immobilize, and chilled.
- Elemental Pursuit (Weaver) — Gain superspeed when inflicting inhibiting conditions on enemies.
- Time Catches Up (Chronomancer) — Activating a Shatter gives your illusions superspeed. Shatters deal increased damage to movement-impaired foes.
- Bitter Chill (Spite) — Chilling a foe inflicts vulnerability.
- Chilling Nova (Reaper) — Critical hits against chilled foes cause an explosion that chills adjacent foes.
- Chilling Victory (Reaper) — Striking a chilled foe grants might and life force. Single attacks can activate this trait more than once before recharging.
- Cold Shoulder (Reaper) — Chill lasts longer, and chilled foes take increased strike damage from your attacks.
- Deathly Chill (Reaper) — Chill deals damage over time.

- Crystal Configuration: Zephyr (Holosmith) — Holo Leap removes movement-impairing conditions, grants superspeed instead of swiftness, and inflicts cripple.
- Unstoppable Union (Soulbeast) — Entering beastmode grants boons and removes movement-impairing conditions.
- Unhindered Combatant (Daredevil) — Your dodge ability is replaced by a long-range dash that removes inhibiting conditions and grants swiftness and damage reduction. Removing conditions in this way temporarily reduces endurance gain.
- Stop, Drop, and Roll (Water) — Dodging removes burning and chilled from nearby allies.
- Speed of Shadows (Soul Reaping) — Entering shroud grants swiftness and removes movement-impairing conditions.

- Dash (Unhindered Combatant) — Remove conditions and gain swiftness, then rush forward and evade attacks.
Traits that reduce the effects of chilled
- Dogged March (Defense) — Reduce the duration of movement-impeding conditions and gain regeneration when you are affected by one of these conditions.
- Don't Stop (Acrobatics) — While you have swiftness, movement-impairing conditions have reduced duration. When you gain swiftness, lose a movement-impairing condition.
- Earthen Blessing (Earth) — Decrease the duration of movement-impairing conditions applied to you. Restore endurance when you receive one of these conditions.
- Time Marches On (Chronomancer) — You move 25% faster. The duration of incoming movement-impairing conditions is reduced by 25%.
- Relentless Pursuit (Reaper) — Reduces duration of movement-impairing conditions. Additional reduction while in reaper's shroud.

Trivia[edit]
- This condition was previously known as "frozen".
- This condition was limited to a maximum of 5 stacks on July 7, 2015. When capped, new longer stacks will replace shorter ones.
- Skill cooldown = original cooldown + 0.66/1.66 * chill duration, if the chill expires before the cooldown.
- Skill cooldown = original cooldown * 1.66, if the cooldown expires before the chill.
- Three seconds of Chilled is applied upon reaching any of the mountainpeaks for the achievement Shiver at the Peaks as an indication that you're in the right place.
