Crippled is a condition that makes character visibly limp and move slower. Cripple also deals defiance bar damage at a rate of 15 per second. Cripple has a maximum duration of 10 seconds.

Traits that cripple
Dulled Senses (Dragonhunter) — Cripple enemies that you disable. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
Zealot's Aggression (Dragonhunter) — Deal increased strike damage to crippled foes. Justice's passive effect cripples enemies.
Ashen Demeanor (Renegade) — Disabling a foe cripples your enemy, which leaves them vulnerable and inspires you with Kalla's Fervor.
Shrapnel (Explosives) — Explosions have a chance to cripple and cause bleeding on hit.
Crystal Configuration: Zephyr (Holosmith) — Holo Leap removes movement-impairing conditions, grants superspeed instead of swiftness, and inflicts cripple.
Alpha Focus (Marksmanship) — Your opening strikes inflict cripple on your foes.
Trapper's Expertise (Skirmishing) — Increase the duration of boons and conditions applied by traps. Offensive traps inflict cripple.

Drop Gunk (Streamlined Kits) — Drop gunk at your location to inflict a random condition.
Lesser Muddy Terrain (Child of Earth) — Survival. Use mud to cripple, slow, and immobilize foes.
Lesser Caltrops (Uncatchable) — Scatter caltrops that cripple and bleed foes.
Impaling Lotus (Lotus Training) — Evade attacks and hurl damaging daggers, dealing multiple conditions to enemies.
Shock Wave (Evasive Arcana, when attuned to earth) — Create a shock wave that bleeds and cripples nearby foes.
Spiteful Spirit (Spiteful Spirit) — Cripple nearby foes and convert their boons into conditions. Gain resolution for each foe you strike. Converts additional boons on foes below the health threshold.

Zealot's Aggression (Dragonhunter) — Deal increased strike damage to crippled foes. Justice's passive effect cripples enemies.
Leg Specialist (Tactics) — Immobilize a target when you cripple them with a skill. Deal increased strike damage to foes affected with movement-impairing conditions.
Predator's Onslaught (Marksmanship) — You and your pet deal increased strike damage to disabled, defiant, or movement-impaired foes. Affected conditions are stun, taunt, daze, cripple, fear, immobilize, and chilled.
Elemental Pursuit (Weaver) — Gain superspeed when inflicting inhibiting conditions on enemies.
Time Catches Up (Chronomancer) — Activating a Shatter gives your illusions superspeed. Shatters deal increased damage to movement-impaired foes.

Dogged March (Defense) — Reduce the duration of movement-impeding conditions and gain regeneration when you are affected by one of these conditions.
Don't Stop (Acrobatics) — While you have swiftness, movement-impairing conditions have reduced duration. When you gain swiftness, lose a movement-impairing condition.
Earthen Blessing (Earth) — Decrease the duration of movement-impairing conditions applied to you. Restore endurance when you receive one of these conditions.
Relentless Pursuit (Reaper) — Reduces duration of movement-impairing conditions. Additional reduction while in reaper's shroud.

Relics that apply crippled[edit]
- Relic of the Sunless — Using an elite skill summons a pool on the target enemy that inflicts poison and cripple. Pool duration scales with the recharge of the elite skill.
- Relic of the Blightbringer — Gain stacks of Greer's Virulence when you inflict poison on a foe. After reaching the maximum number of stacks, the next time you inflict poison also inflicts additional conditions on nearby enemies.

- Relic of the Sorcerer — When you inflict crippled, chilled, or immobile, you also inflict vulnerability.

- Relic of Febe — When you use a healing skill, grant nearby allies swiftness and remove movement-impairing conditions from them.

- Cripple will also shorten your leap range.
- Story-related "wounded" NPCs are sometimes given a permanent Crippled effect to make them significantly slower. These effects can nevertheless still be drawn or removed by conventional condition-related skills.

- When Cripple is applied to a character they will occasionally shout out one of the following lines, depending on their race and gender.
