Revealed is an effect that prevents a character from entering stealth for its duration. It is primarily self-applied when a character breaks stealth by striking an enemy, preventing players from repeatedly attacking and then using stealth before an enemy can respond. Several skills and traits can also inflict Revealed on enemies as a counterplay against stealth in WvW and SPvP game modes. A number of environmental effects and game mechanics apply this effect as well.
Revealed is indicated visually on characters by a pair of shining feline-like eyes above their heads. An "Immune" message pops up if an attempt to stealth is made during that time. When applied as a result of breaking stealth, the effect lasts 3 seconds in PvE, and 4 seconds in WvW and SPvP. When applied to an enemy, Revealed will end the stealth effect and render the target visible immediately. Allowing stealth to expire normally without attacking will not apply Revealed; exception from this is thief's skill Shadow Refuge – leaving its circle before the last pulse will inflict Revealed.
The Thief profession has special interaction with the Revealed effect and is capable of removing it from self or benefit from it.

- Magebane Tether (Magebane Tether) — Tether yourself to your target. If they move beyond the range threshold, pull them to you. Grants might and reveals your target every second.
- Controlled Analysis (Lock On) — Analyze a disabled foe, applying vulnerability.
