Tool Kit

Engineering Kit. Equip a kit that gives you a variety of tools.

Tool Kit makes the engineer equip a wrench, with five different skills replacing the standard weapon skills.

Skills[edit]

#	Skill			Description
1	Smack	0.5½		Chain. Smack your foe. Repair turrets.
1	Whack	0.5½		Chain. Whack your foe. Repairs turrets.
1	Thwack	1		Thwack your foe. Repairs turrets.
2	Box of Nails	0.75¾	0.25¼	Scatter nails that bleed and cripple foes. The first pulse of this skill will immobilize foes who are movement impaired or disabled. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
3	Pry Bar	0.5½	10	Confuse your foe by smacking them with a pry bar.
4	Gear Shield	2	15	Block attacks.
5	Magnet	10.25¼	15	Pull your target to you.

Backpack Regenerator — Recover health every second when using an Engineering Kit.

Streamlined Kits — Equipping an Engineering Kit creates an attack or spell and grants you swiftness.

Patch	Changes
August 08, 2017	Path of Fire pre-patch: Weapon Kits and Device Kits are now referred to as Engineering kits to reflect that their classifications are functionally the same.
June 23, 2015	Specialization update: All kit backpacks were removed and replaced with a weapon that your character holds to distinguish the kit you are currently using.
December 14, 2012	Engineer kits now inherit the bonuses from currently equipped weapon sigils.
November 15, 2012	Bomb Kit / Med Kit / Tool Kit / Elixir Gun: These skills can now be equipped in the air. All kits can be stowed in the air now.
September 14, 2012	Disabled the "stowing" auto-attack to prevent players from getting stuck holding these kits: Bomb Kit, Elixir Gun, Flamethrower, Grenade Kit, Med Kit, and Tool Kit.
August 28, 2012	Game release: Tool Kit has been added to the game.
