Explorer is an achievement category involving exploration of locations in Tyria. There is an achievement for each explorable region in Tyria, each consisting of multiple zones. The other achievements involve various activities throughout Tyria and the Skritt Burglar. The areas that players typically have trouble finding are listed at the bottom of the article.

Notes[edit]

Aurene's legendary weapons do not count for Legendary Collector achievement
  • Explorer achievements tier descriptions don't follow the usual Title Case conventions.
  • There are one of two different icons used on the message sent on completion of a map area. The completed renown heart, and the personal story green star, instead of there being one standard icon used.
  • Lion's Arch Exterminator to receive Princess is an Explorer achievement and not a collection.
  • A checklist of all areas for the Explorer achievements may be found here.
  1. ^ Glutton for Guidance: Hero-Tron must be standing in their spot south of the crafting stations to interact. While they are moving or in the Order of Whispers Headquarters, interaction will not work.
  2. ^ Not On My Watch: This achievement requires that you participate in both the Drive the Sons of Svanir from Coiled Watch and Defend Coiled Watch events. The NPCs can be revived to ensure that you still qualify for this achievement.

Trivia[edit]

  • Deserted Coast and Thorn Hollow were originally listed in the Dragon's Stand Explorer achievement, even though they did not exist in the playable maps.[1] They were later removed from the list.
