Trivia[edit]
The Guild Wars Wiki has an article on Ashford Abbey. |
- This area contains a reference to the time traveling RPG Chrono Trigger. The sword stuck in the pedestal bears resemblance to the Masamune, a sword from the game, and interacting with it makes mention of an 'inscription faded by time'.
- Furthermore, a frog and a ghost cat named Alfa can be found standing near the sword; both resemble characters from the game.
- In addition, the event Defeat the Ascalonian ghost leader in Abbey Ruins involves an NPC which makes a remark referencing the game, and upon completion of the event the ambient music is replaced by ringing bells which sound similar to those that ring at the beginning and end of the game.
