Hidden just below the planet's atmosphere is Amnytas, home to the Wizard's Court and the Astral Ward—a society unknown to those who live in Tyria. Here, the wizards' bastions are beginning to falter under the corrupting influence of the Kryptis, an otherworldly threat from the Mists.

Amnytas is a zone in the Horn of Maguuma region introduced with the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure expansion. It is home to the Wizard's Court and the Astral Ward, who have raised massive Bastions dedicated to the research of the various magical ecosystems in Tyria. The end of the Elder Dragon Cycle has disrupted the balance of magic and the wizards' defenses against threats in the Mists, allowing the Kryptis to begin breaking into the world of Tyria.

Requires the Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure expansion:

Notes

• When navigating this zone without Flight Training masteries unlocked, it will be easiest to visit each of the Bastions in a counter-clockwise fashion (starting from the Bastion of the Natural --> Knowledge, Strength, Balance, Obscure and finally Celestial in the center). Alternatively, visit the zone when the Defense of Amnytas meta event is occurring, and use the portals to secure the Celestial bastion's waypoint. From this high point, the rest of Amnytas is easily reachable.
• Using the emote /wave on this map grants Vigor for 10 seconds.
