Ruins left by the ravages of time and a bloodstone crater speak of the White Mantle occupation in the time of the original Guild Wars®. The barrier between this world and the Mists has grown thin in Janthir Syntri, resulting in magical storms called Mists Tides that sweep the area. And strange creatures, known to scholars of Tyria's past as titans, have begun appearing in greater numbers.

Janthir Syntri is a zone located within the Janthir region introduced with the Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds expansion.

East Janthir Syntri contains storm-swept beaches of black sand, while the west contains dense forests that have begun to succumb to Greer, the Blightbringer's rot. In the northwest, walled in by cliffs, lies a sulfurous swamp filled with toxic springs. Ancient ruins and a bloodstone's crater can be found here, serving as a reminder of the area's White Mantle occupation 250 years ago. The barrier between Tyria and the Mists has thinned here, causing storms known as Mists Tides to sweep through the zone. An infestation of titanspawn plagues Janthir Syntri.

All options require the Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds expansion:

• From Lowland Shore: the portal is just north of  Harvest Shore Waypoint — .
• From Thousand Seas Pavilion: use The Mysterious Gate in the Water Portal to Tyria (Thousand Seas Pavilion).
