Horn of Maguuma is a region located within Tyria, in the northwestern part of the Maguuma Jungle. Part of the Skywatch Archipelago area are fractals of a distorted reflection of reality, while Amnytas is a hidden zone below the atmosphere, where the Wizard's Court and Astral Ward live, an order of wizards who have remained hidden from all the inhabitants of Tyria.
Getting there[edit]
- The Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure expansion is required to access this region.
- Activate the Secrets of the Obscure story in your Story Journal in the hero panel and continue to finish the steps of the story of Prologue: Uncertain Times, Commander without a Cause, and Hell Breaks Loose to gain access to Skywatch Archipelago.
- Read the Mysterious Book in the underwater ruins in Lake Adorea (Plains of Ashford) to open the Portal to the Beacon of Ages.
- If you have obtained the Wizard's Tower Teleportation Stone while playing the story with a character, alternate characters at level 80 can use the item to teleport to The Wizard's Tower and then, just like before, simply have to walk through one of the exit portals.
- After finishing the Tower of Secrets story mission with that character, the portal to the wizard's tower appears in Coriolis Plaza, between the portals to Southsun Island and Hoelbrak.

- Originally, the Daily Strike Mission category listed the region as Shattered Coast while the API listed it as Skies of Tyria. Both descriptions were fixed with the September 12, 2023 game update.
