Walkthrough

This event starts during the Of Mists and Monsters meta event after the timer countdown. To see when it and this event start, see the timer on that page. If the Ghostly Sacrifice is slain, the event will fail. There are at least 3 waves, and each wave, several groups of enemies will spawn along the outer edge of the event and all rush toward the Ghostly Sacrifice in the center. The Ghostly Sacrifice can be healed by players. Focus on the White Mantle Zealot as they will explode and deal massive damage. It is recommended to have at least 3 or 4 players due to the number of enemies or a smaller group can more easily succeed with someone healing the Ghostly Sacrifice.
