Kill the spawned enemies with the swords icon above their head and collect Metal Scraps from them. Then bring the scraps to each of the rods and repair them by pressing interaction key.—default F

Notes

Bug:

The Weather Conductor achievement is currently bugged as once it fails on a specific map instance, it will not reset for future events unless the event itself fails. Your best bet for that achievement is thus to join a fresh map instance and participate to the first event of that instance - see this forum post for a full walkthrough.

Anomaly:

Surging Current seems to be talking to other NPCs during the failure dialogue ("fall back, you two"), but there are no other NPCs present in the area during the event.
