| Feeling lost and purposeless after the defeat of Mordremoth, the Sylvari who would come to be known as Rena Redthorn decided to leave Sylvari society. Giving herself a human name, she arrived at Divinity's Reach and integrated herself into human society. Although she enjoyed living among the humans for a while, she grew tired of the stereotypes as a Sylvari ranger, and eventually decided to move on again. She then emerged in the vicinity of Mount Maelstrom, and began helping the local wardens deal with the threats of the Inquest. While she is content to remain there for a time, she will inevitably move on again in search of her true purpose.
