Walkthrough[edit]
Travel to Eir's homestead for a short conversation, then to north-eastern part of Wayfarer Foothills. Upon entering the instance you will meet up with Eir, Garm, and the Minotaur Spirit, they will all fight with you. There are some Ice Wurm Hatchlings near by that you or the NPC may aggro, taking them out will avoid them from joining the upcoming fight.
The entrance is guarded by a Svanir Ballista Operator at a Svanir Bolt Thrower and a pack of Icebrood Wolves. You can destroy the Bolt Thrower with range attacks without aggroing the rest. All the rest will attack if one gets aggroed. After all have been killed move to the entrance, a small group is just inside. You can pull them out or fight at the entrance. Do not go to far inside while fighting as there is another group farther in, take on one group at a time. After killing the second group a cinematic of Vidkum arriving will play.
You will now fight Vidkun and The Dragon Beast. Kill The Dragon Beast first. Doing Vidkun first will only put him in a down state and then the Beast will come over and rez him at full health. Final cinematic will play when both are defeated.

Dialogue[edit]
Hoelbrak[edit]
Upon entering Eir's home:
- Eir Stegalkin: Patience, Garm. We'll go as soon as the Slayer gets here.
- Garm is playing.
- Eir Stegalkin: I have great hopes that this is the hero we've been waiting for.
- Eir Stegalkin: Don't worry. No matter what, we'll still be together, you and me. Just like always.
Cinematic with Eir:
- Eir Stegalkin: Welcome, Slayer. Now that the minotaurs are free, we can concentrate on Vidkun and his beast. I believe they're hiding out near Hunter's Lake.
- <Character name>: Then we're off to the lake to punish Vidkun and his little dragon minion! Simple.
- Eir Stegalkin: Simple? That creature is a servant of the Ice Dragon itself. You should take dangerous opponenets more seriously. Don't underestimate Vidkun's beast…or Vidkun.
- <Character name>: I'm not underestimating them; I'm insulting them. Relax, Eir! I know this will be a real fight, and I'm ready for it.
- Eir Stegalkin: You have to be more than ready. I used to be as eager as you, but I learned: where Jormag's minions are involved, you can't overprepare.
- <Character name>: With you around, I'm learning all the time. Trust me; I'm ready for this. So is Garm, by the look of him, perking up his ears at the idea of a fight.
- Eir Stegalkin: Garm's a bit like you: he always enjoys a good brawl. Let's give him one. We'll meet you at Hunter's Lake.
After cinematic:
- Eir Stegalkin: This will be the kind of battle they sing about at moots. Glory comes easily to you, Slayer.
- It comes a lot easier since I met you. Now, on to Vidkun!
- Thanks, but we've got work to do. Let's pay a visit to Vidkun and his beast.
Hunter's Lake[edit]
Cinematic with Eir at Hunter's Lake:
- Eir Stegalkin: Minotaur seems eager to settle the score with Vidkun and his dragon minion.
- <Character name>: If they'd been eating my friends and family, I'd feel the same!
- Eir Stegalkin salutes <Character name>.
- Garm is playing.
Interacting with the minotaur spirit:
- Minotaur Spirit: The spirit stares intently, then dips its horns in a gesture of respect.
- Run free, Minotaur. Your people are safe now.
Talking with Eir:
- Eir Stegalkin: This is it, Slayer. Vidkun's little hunting party ends here and now. Are you ready?
- More than ready. Let's show the Sons what it feels like to be hunted to extinction.
- I'm ready. Just make sure you and Garm leave some of the Sons for me.
- Ready. Between you, me, Garm and Minotaur, Vidkun will be punished.
- Yes. Let's go.
Cinematic after the initial Sons of Svanir are defeated:
- Vidkun: So you're the ones causing so much trouble! A snot-nosed kid and an old woman. Ha! Coming here was a fatal mistake.
- Vidkun: My thanks for delivering the Minotaur spirit! My dragon beast needs a full meal before I trun it loose on Hoelbrak.
- <Character name>: We're not delivering Minotaur to your pet, we're delivering your pet to him.[sic] He's going to trample that thing flat.
- <Character name>: It's over, Vidkun. You've butchered your last minotaur.
- Eir Stegalkin:You attacked the Spirits of the Wild. We are their rebuttal. Defend yourself!
Before the battle:
- Vidkun: Come, my pet. Let us show them the power of Dragon!
- The Dragon Beast taunts <Character name>.
If you bring down Vidkun before the Beast his health regenerates:
- Vidkun: You cannot defeat me! With my minion by my side, I am invincible!
- Eir Stegalkin: Kill the creature first! We can't hurt Vidkun while it's alive!
Cinematic after Vidkun and the beast are defeated (if the player completed Shape of the Spirit):
- <Character name>: I'm no shaman, but it's easy to see that Minotaur is happy and grateful. I hope this means no more minotaur herds attacking caravans?
- Eir Stegalkin: I'd say definitely not. We didn't just stop these Sons of Svanir, we expanded our understanding of the Spirits. This is a victory to be savored, Slayer.
- <Character name>: Oh, I'll savor it. If you, me, and Garm ever go out where we're not on the edge of death every step of the way, the savoring will be epic!
- Eir Stegalkin: Ha. Count me in. It'll have to wait, though. I have a hall full of statues to carve...I'm feeling more creative than I have in ages.
- <Character name>: Glad to hear it. You've spent plenty of time making me look good lately. It's somebody else's turn.
- Eir Stegalkin: You made yourself look good. I'm just here to smooth out the rough edges. I do have a lot more I want to teach you, but you've done enough for one day.
- Eir Stegalkin: Garm and I may call on you again soon. You should also count on us if you ever need help. Until we meet again, may the Spirits guide you.
Alternative cinematic after Vidkun and the beast are defeated (if the player completed One Good Drink Deserves Another):
- <Character name>: I'm no shaman, but it's easy to see that Minotaur is happy and grateful. I hope this means no more minotaur herds attacking caravans?
- Eir Stegalkin: I'd say definitely not. We didn't just stop these Sons of Svanir, we expanded our understanding of the Spirits. This is a victory to be savored, Slayer.
- <Character name>: Oh, I'll savor it. And if I remember correctly, you're going to join me in savoring it over a few kegs of Bear's Brown Ale.
- Eir Stegalkin: Ha! I did promise, didn't I? We'll have to wait for the next moot, though. I think the Sons drank all of the Bear's Brown in Hoelbrak.
- <Character name>: That won't stop us for long. Nothing can!
- Eir Stegalkin: Keep that confidence, Slayer. There's a lot more I want to teach you, but you've done enough for one day.
- Eir Stegalkin: Garm and I may call on you again soon. You should also count on us if you ever need help. Until we meet again, may the Spirits guide you.
After final cinematic:
- Eir Stegalkin: Another job well done, Slayer. Now Minotaur and his people can live as they were meant to: wild and free.
- They deserve it. Just as Vidkun and his dragon minion deserved what they got.
- I just hope Minotaur remembers us when he becomes one of the major spirits.
- Whenever the Sons attack the true Spirits of the Wild, I'll be there to stop them.
- As it should be.
