Dialogue[edit]
When entering, Kasmeer is pacing (doesn't show in chat log):
- Kasmeer Meade: I can't believe she just sauntered into Divintiy's Reach like that.
- Kasmeer Meade: Our poor queen. She must be beside herself. Our city, violated.
- Kasmeer Meade: This is our home. Are we not even safe here?
A few moments later:
- Marjory Delaqua: Kas. Darlin', why don't you sit down. You're makin' my head spin.
- Kasmeer Meade: Sit? Are you kidding? How can I sit? We have to do something.
- Marjory Delaqua: What do you suggest we do?
- Kasmeer Meade: Find Scarlet. Someone in this city knows something. We should talk to people. I'll know if they're lying.
- Marjory Delaqua: Hm. You better be careful. People will start thinking that pretty head of yours isn't just for decoration.
- Rox:Hey, bartender. What do you got on the menu's that's still mooing?
- Bartender: Closest thing is a mug of milk. Fresh as of this morning.
- Rox: My friend and I'll take one each.
- Marjory Delaqua: How long you in town for?
- Rox:Not much longer.
- Braham Eirsson: She's on leave, so we're exploring the city. But, she has to get back soon. She's trying out for Rytlock Brimstone's warband.
- Rox: Braham!
- Braham Eirsson: What?
- Kasmeer Meade: THE Rytlock Brimstone? That's amazing. So, you've met him? What's he like?
- Rox: He's the kind of warrior who'd kill you for talking about his personal business.
- Kasmeer Meade: Oh. Forget I asked.
- Marjory Delaqua: Our mystery man has been in touch.
- Kasmeer Meade: You mean E? What'd he want?
- Marjory Delaqua: To warn us, it seems. He says there's a war coming to our doorsteps, a war for all of Tyria.
- Kasmeer Meade: I don't suppose he could be any more mysterious, could he?
- Marjory Delaqua: I agree. I don't think he was trying hard enough.
Talking to allies:
- Kasmeer Meade: Why hasn't anyone captured Scarlet yet? She's a sylvari. She can't be that smart. Can she? Oh, sorry. Happy Wintersday, by the way.
- If sylvari:
- I beg your pardon!
- Oh, I didn't mean to offend you. It's just that...you're all so young. And sweet. And...
- You've led a sheltered life, haven't you?
- I suppose. Though I helped fight the Toxic Alliance in Kessex Hills. Say, I heard Scarlet had a vision of the the entire universe—whatever that means. An asura had a device he put her in.
- I'm not surprised. The asura were the first to experiment on our first generations.
- Really? Oh, how awful. I'm so sorry to hear that. I suppose it's not surprising. The asura can be quite...clinical. Perhaps they accidentally broke her?
- I think that's likely.
- Good to know.
- Good to know.
- Otherwise:
- And to you. We know very little about sylvari.
- I guess I thought they were all goofy, childlike beings. I mean, their race is only twenty-five years old, right?
- And they're plants.
- They say she had a vision, a vision of the entire universe—whatever that means. An asura was experimenting on her—or training her, I can't remember which—and put her in some device.
- (If asura)
- Asuran devices can work extreme magic.
- (Otherwise)
- Trusted an asuran prototype? Then she can't be all that bright.
- They say she had a vision, a vision of the entire universe—whatever that means. An asura was experimenting on her—or training her, I can't remember which—and put her in some device.
- Good to know.
- Happy Wintersday.
- Marjory Delaqua: Kasmeer's all fired up about Scarlet. Truth is, we both think we need to do something about her. Further investigation. Have you heard of Beigarth?
- (If norn)
- There's a Beigarth in Hoelbrak.
- That's the one. He apparently trained Scarlet for a while. One of us should go find out what he knows.
- You mentioned E. What do you know? (Same as below)
- I agree.
- (Otherwise)
- Beigarth who?
- Some norn who lives in Hoelbrak. Apparently, he trained Scarlet for a while. I'm guessing he has some information on her. Someone should go talk to him.
- You mentioned E. What do you know?
- Not enough. We call him a "he," but we don't know if that's true. All we know is that he knows a lot. So he must be fairly well connected. He hasn't been wrong yet.
- He contacts you often?
- Often enough. Usually with some tip about wrongdoings that need righted. You?
- Yeah. Me too.
- I see.
- I agree.
- Rox: This Wintersday stuff isn't half bad. Are you doing okay?
- Yeah. Good to see you again.
- Same here. We've been talking about Scarlet, even though I should have reported in to Rytlock by now. Fortunately, he's been dealing with Legion business and doesn't have time.
- (If charr)
- When he calls, you'd better answer.
- He knows I'm here and that I helped kill the dragon lieutenant they call Tequatl, so he'll summon me. I just hope it's soon. That Tequatl tail is stinkier than Braham after a battle.
- Ah, I thought that smell was your norn friend.
- Okay.
- (Otherwise)
- Why do you have to report in?
- He's currently my superior. I report to him. It's just that simple.
- I see.
- No, really. That's how the legions work. I report to my superior. They're my team. I...report to them.
- Got it.
- Okay.
- Okay.
- Same here. We've been talking about Scarlet, even though I should have reported in to Rytlock by now. Fortunately, he's been dealing with Legion business and doesn't have time.
- Not really. Times are tough. (Same as "Yeah. Good to see you again.")
- Braham Eirsson: Hye again. Glad you could make it. Wintersday is my favorite time of year, though it makes me miss the snow. I'm introducing Rox to how we celebrate the holiday.
- Rox seems cranky.
- Yeah. She's itchy to get back to her papa bear Brimstone. Hmph.
- You don't like Brimstone?
- I don't like that she's got chains holder her back. She jumps at his every word.
- That's the charr way.
- Well, it ain't the norn way.
- Obviously.
- I see.
- I see.
- Sounds fun.
