Walkthrough[edit]
Talk to Lieutenant Francis and he'll tell you that he can't help since his recent shipment was stolen. He'll direct you to the bandit's cave.
Petra will join you at the cave. As long as you keep from aggroing too many bandits at once, the two of you should be able to take out bandit groups without much trouble. Proceed through the cave and up a set of ramps. Your old friend, Twitchy Jake stands between you and the supplies. He'll surrender once he reaches half health, but after you pick up the supplies, he becomes hostile once more. This time you must fully defeat him.
Return to Francis and then to Andrew. Afterwards, talk to Logan Thackeray to complete the step.

Dialogue[edit]
Shaemoor Fields[edit]
Talking to Lieutenant Francis:
- Lieutenant Francis: How can I help you, citizen?
- Captain Thackeray said you could provide me with medical supplies.
- I'm sorry. I'd like to, especially if Captain Thackeray sent you, but all of our medical supplies were stolen by bandits.
- A good friend of mine needs those supplies. How can I help?
- Maybe we can help each other. The bandits probably stored the supplies deep in their hideout, in the caves south of Shaemoor Fields. Recover them and your friend will get the first batch.
- Deal. I'll be back soon with the supplies.
- How are the Seraph holding up?
- How bad is the bandit situation?
- Good-bye.
Bandithaunt Caverns[edit]
Cinematic when entering the cave:
- <Character name>: Petra? What are you doing here? How did you find this place?
- Petra: I followed you. I'm not going to sit around and worry about my father when I can help!
- Petra: Families look out for each other. You're like family, too. I'm not losing either of you. Not without a fight.
- <Character name>: Fine, you can help. But stay close, and be careful.
Inside entrance of the cave:
- Petra: Stop worrying about me. I can take care of myself. You're the one who just got out of the hospital.
- Petra: It just feels good swinging Ms. Timber again. She's been tucked away behind the bar for too long.
- Petra: This takes me back. Except these bullies fight dirtier than the ones on the playground.
Greeting Petra:
- Petra: We need those supplies. It's not just the wound. My dad will shrivel up and die if he can't work.
Approaching the first group of bandits:
- Bandit Thug: I hate when Ted leaves Jake in charge. He just took all the loot away to "organize" it.
- Bandit Cutpurse: He'd better organize it into equal shares, or I'm going to knife him. Ted or no Ted.
- Bandit Cutpurse: What in the—get 'em!
Approaching the group of bandits performing target practise:
- Bandit Scout (male): Nice shot. maybe if you're not busy later, i can show you my special firing technique.
- Bandit Scout (female): You mean the one where you shoot over your shoulder? Drunk dolyaks aim better than that.
Approaching more bandits:
- Petra: Careful. Don't let them see us until Ms.Timber here is ready to introduce herself.
- Petra: Target practice? For these goons? What a waste of good bullets.
- Petra: Wow. Whoever built this rickety thing must have been drunk and short on nails.
- Petra: My father could have pummeled Ted and his cronies in his younger years. Now it's up to us.
When approaching the moas:
- Petra: Look, moas! They're big, but skittish. it would be real easy to spook them.
- Petra: Remember when we used to ride Rancher Mepi's herd? I bet these birds are just as skittish.
- Bandit Cutpurse: It sounds like something's bothering the moas.
- Bandit Thug: Everything bothers those blasted birds. I say let 'em squawk.
At the Veteran King Moa:
- Veteran King Moa: The moas are asleep right now, but they are notoriously excitable. If you startle one, the entire flock could stampede.
- Boot the moa in the butt.
- Gently push the moa towards the exit of the cave.
- Leave the moas alone.
If you push the moa towards the exit:
- Bandit Cutpurse: What has gotten into those moas? We should check it out.
- Bandit Thug: Fine. Anything to keep those walking balls of feathers and guano quiet.
- Bandit Cutpurse: See? There's nothing here. Should never have listened to something with a pea-sized brain.
- Bandit Thug: Thanks a lot.
- Bandit Cutpurse: I was talking about the moas. Crybaby.
If you boot the moa in the butt:
- Petra: There they go! Just look at those feathers fly!
- Bandit Thug: What in the— The blasted moas are out! Get those stupid birds under control!
After the moa cinematic:
- Bandit Thug: Oh no, not again! I hate catching those stupid birds! I bet they're covered in parasites!
While searching the cave:
- (before scaring off the moas)
- Bandit Scout: Dwayna, take my nose! Those moas stink so bad it hurts my feelings.
- (after scaring off the moas)
- Bandit Scout: Did all of those stupid birds just high-tail it out of here? Must be my lucky day.
- Bandit Bruiser: I'm tired of guardin' this place. When do we get to see some action?
- Bandit Thug: Big Nose Ted said the next job's comin' up soon–just make sure you're ready for it!
- Bandit Cutpurse: Ah. Is it just me, or does everything taste better out of silver mugs?
- Bandit Thug: I think it's because it's got that nice "just stolen" feel to it.
- Bandit Cutpurse: Look at all these goodies we swiped! Gather 'round and get yourself an eyeful!
- Bandit Thug: Who in Balthazar's fiery...never mind, just get them!
- Twitchy Jake: It's that do-gooder from the bar! Recruits! Kill this clown!
- Petra: That sounded like one of the slobs who messed up the bar. They're supposed to be in jail!
- Twitchy Jake: What's all that racket down there? Pipe down! I'm busy!
- Twitchy Jake: Rookies. Bleedin' useless. Hey! I need backup over here!
If you go in the wrong direction:
- Petra: Not that way. The stuff we want will be deep inside, and guarded.
While fighting Twitchy Jake:
- Bandit Scout: Keep yer eyes open. We got a tricky one here, we do...
- Twitchy Jake: That does it! Nobody gets any loot until you kill that yahoo!
- Twitchy Jake: You're dead! I'm Big Nose Ted's right-hand man!
- Twitchy Jake: Hey, keep your hands off me!
- Twitchy Jake: Okay, okay! I surrender. / I'm done.
Talking to Twitchy Jake:
- Twitchy Jake: Stop! I give up. I've seen the error of my ways, and it's the straight and narrow from here on. I swear it, by Dwayna's tears!
- All right, I'll let you live. But I'm keeping an eye on you.
At the Medical Supply Chest:
- Medical Supply Chest: The contents are jumbled together.
- Search the chest.
- At the bottom you find a wooden box of Seraph medical supplies.
- Take the medical supplies.
During the fight after taking medical supplies:
- Twitchy Jake: When you get to the Mists, tell 'em Twitchy Jake sent ya!
- Twitchy Jake: Don't you know who I am? I'm famous! I've done everything bad!
Cinematic after Twitchy Jake is defeated:
- <Character name>: I've got to get these supplies back to the Seraph. I'll bring your father what he needs right after I talk to Lieutenant Francis.
- Petra: All right, but hurry! I'll go check on Dad. See you back at the tavern!
After the cinematic:
- Petra: Good luck. I'll see you soon.
- Petra: If I see Ted, Ms. Timber and I will make his big nose even bigger. And flatter.
- Petra: Ha! I'll be picking teeth out of Ms. Timber for a week.
Shaemoor Fields[edit]
Returning the medical supplies to Lieutenant Francis:
- Lieutenant Francis: How can I help you, citizen?
- I've got the medical supplies.
- That's quite a feat. No wonder Captain Thackeray trusts you.
- I saw Twitchy Jake with the supplies, but the Ministry Guard arrested him. Why is he out?
- That scoundrel's free again? Hmm. After you take the medicine to your friend, report to Captain Thackeray. He needs to know about Twitchy Jake's early release.
- I will. Thanks.
- How are the Seraph holding up?
- How bad is the bandit situation?
- Good-bye.
Salma District[edit]
Entering the inn:
- Barmaid Barbara: You're back! They're upstairs, take a left, first door on the right. Quick!
Speaking to Barbara:
- Barmaid Barbara: Andrew and Petra are upstairs-take a left, and then first room on the right. Please hurry!
- On my way.
Talking to Petra before the cinematic:
- Petra: You made it! Dad was asking after you. You have the medicine, right? I was worried Lieutenant Francis would need it. Did you tell him about the escaped bandit we saw?
- Sure did. He told me to report it to Captain Thackeray.
- I'll rest easier with the Seraph handling things. Do you need any help giving Dad that medicine?
- I'll be fine. Thanks.
- Don't worry. I have the medicine right here.
Cinematic with Andrew:
- <Character name>: Easy, Andrew. Here, drink this. It probably tastes terrible, but it'll get you back on your feet.
- Petra: Settle down, Dad. I'm here now, and you'll be better soon.
- Petra: Thanks to you, my friend. And please, can you thank Captain Thackeray for us?
- <Character name>: Of course. I need to speak with him anyway. I've learned something important that he needs to know.
Talking with Innkeeper Andrew after cinematic:
- Innkeeper Andrew: God bless you! Keeping my daughter safe and…getting my medicine? I couldn't be prouder of you were my own child.
- Are you sure you're okay?
- I'll be fine. I can feel myself mending already. Now go see the captain. Doesn't pay to keep important folk waiting!
- I'm on my way. You take care.
- Thanks. That means a lot.
Talking with Petra after cinematic:
- Petra: Go on! My father will be fine. Go! Speak with Captain Thackeray.
- Are you sure He'll be all right?
- Look. The color has already returned to his face. He'll be fussing about me soon enough.
- I should let him rest. Take care, Petra.
- Okay. Thanks.
Cinematic downstairs in the bar:
- <Character name>: Captain Thackeray? What are you doing here?
- Logan Thackeray: We came to check on the tavernkeeper... and on you. But, where are my manners? Allow me to introduce Countess Anise, Master Exemplar of the Shining Blade.
- <Character name>: It's an honor, my lady. Captain, I found the medical supplies, but there's something else. Twitchy Jake was there. He's free, even though he was arrested in the tavern brawl.
- Countess Anise: Is that so? There's been no trial. Those troublemakers should still be in prison. Unless...they've been deliberately freed? But who would do that? And why?
- Logan Thackeray: They'll never tell us willingly. I'd send someone to infiltrate their hideout, but they know my Seraph.
- <Character name>: I'll go. I don't want Big Nose Ted and his gang on the loose. And I still owe them for hurting my friend.
- Countess Anise: What a brave little soldier you are. You'll need a disguise, of course. Hooligans only talk freely to each other.
- Logan Thackeray: I can tell you where their hideout is. All you'll need is an outfit from one of the bandits themselves, and you're in.
- <Character name>: Leave it to me. I'll get the gear I need to blend in and see what they're up to.
- Logan Thackeray: Outstanding. Pull this off, and you'll be doing Kryta and her queen a great service...and you will have impressed me yet again. Good luck.
After the cinematic:
- Logan Thackeray: Undercover work is tricky. To pull this off, you'll have to eat, breathe, and stink like a bandit.
Talking with Barmaid Barbara after cinematic:
- Barmaid Barbara: Bless you! I'm relieved that Andrew is getting better. I haven't been able to catch my breath ever since the attack.
- He's going to be fine. You should wish him well.
- Good idea. I just need to calm down first. I nearly tripped on the stairs when you came in! And now Captain Thackeray is here! Lyssa's eyes! I should fix my hair!
- You look great. See you later.
- I was glad to help. I should be going.
Talking with Petra after cinematic:
- Petra: Captain Thackeray came by to check on Dad! How kind of him. But who's that lady with him? She's so beautiful and mysterious.
- Countess Anise. She was quite helpful.
Talking with Innkeeper Andrew after cinematic:
- Innkeeper Andrew: Unbelievable! THE Captain Thackeray in my establishment! This'll bring folks in like nothing else.
- Easy, Andrew. Rest now.
Talking with Logan and Anise after the cinematic, who can now be found upstairs on the first landing:
- Logan Thackeray: Watch yourself in those caves. Once you have the information, leave immediately. I'll meet you in my office.
- Understood, I'll see you there.
Talking with Countess Anise after cinematic:
- Countess Anise: Exercise grave caution around bandits. They'd turn on you in a heartbeat, Hero of Shaemoor or not.
- Ruthless and efficient, eh? You remind me of ...someone. I have faith in your abilities. We'll talk again.
- I won't let you down.
If anyone unmasks me, they won't survive to talk.
- My, aren't you quick-tongued! Even uncouth bandits may appreciate your charming ways. Return soon, won't you?.
- I'll be back before you know it.
Not to worry. I dirty up just fine. No one will suspect me.
- Such presence. You remind me of Logan. I see why he respects you! well then, go forth and conquer!
- I will return with the information.
I will uphold my duty. I swear.
- Thanks for the warning, but I'll be okay. I can handle a few bandits.
- I admire your confidence. It's quite...stimulating. Very well. Off you go.
- I'll be back soon.
Speaking to Countess Anise again after making one of the above choices:
- Countess Anise: Be careful out there. I'll meet you afterward in Logan's office.
- Will do.
Talking with your other allies:
- Villager: I heard Andrew is on the mend. I'm still amazed Petra went with you for the medicine!
- It was dangerous, but that didn't slow her down.
- How brave! I always knew she had a big heart, but such courage on top of such beautiful...er, forget I said that.
- I won't tell her, but maybe you should. Talk to you later.
- I'm sure she'll tell you all about it. Good bye.
- Bartender: My wife was sick with worry when she heard what you and Petra were up to.
- How were things while I was gone?
- Quieter. for sure. We got folks stopping by to wish him well and grab a quick pint, but nobody wants the place too busy while Andrew's laid up.
- No bandit trouble, right?
- Ha! Not since the captain posted a Seraph guard here. And once the word gets out that Thackeray himself stopped by again, those scoundrels won't dare show up again.
- I'll drink to that. Take it easy, friend.
- Understood. Talk to you later.
- Tell her not to worry. I have it under control.
- Seraph Guard: The hero of the day! If I wasn't on duty-and if this stubborn bartender would let me pay for anything-I'd buy you a drink.
- I was just helping a friend.
- Don't be so modest! Sure, the stories make it sound like you took out a bandit army single-handedly, but I know the truth of it. You should be proud!
- You don't need to keep hanging around here.
- I don't mind. Besides, Captain Thackeray assigned me to protect the place in case of retaliation after what you did to those bandits. Can't shirk my duty.
- Understood. Talk to you later.
- Thanks. Talk to you later.
- Thanks. Maybe later.
