Walkthrough[edit]
Go to Concordia Waypoint in Gyre Rapids, Timberline Falls. From there interact with the story star to start the instance. After some dialogue head towards the fort, where you'll find some Mordrem. Make sure to revive any fallen allies, as they will help you with the mobs. When the fort is clear there'll be some more dialogue; speak with Tactician Art to decide who to take with you to find Magister Lindsay. Track Lindsay's trail by heading northwest, to the area marked with a green circle on the map - the Magister and two other NPCs can be found in a small cave there, trapped by a few Mordrem. After rescuing Lindsay, escort her and the caravan to Goldenlight Hallow lab. Unfortunately, the lab is under attack, so secure the area around it. Finally, discuss the situation with Rox.

Prevented Allies from Dying at Concordia

- This achievement (a good one to combine with Time Waits for No One) involves preventing any of the NPCs inside or outside the initial encounter in the fort from dying. In addition to ranged damage - use of which can prevent the Mordrem Vile Thrasher and Mordrem Leeching Thrashers from spawning in the first place - and healing, it is advised to bring control effects to prevent any Thrashers from moving around and spreading conditions to the NPCs. Also, skills that reflect or destroy projectiles will help prevent damage from the Jungle Tendrils.
- Achievement qualification may be tracked via the Achievement: Dropping Like Flies effect.

Sometimes the "Time Waits for No One" achievement doesn't complete, even when the requirements have been met.
- As the description says you need to complete this instance within 10 minutes. The main thing that you want to be careful with here is making sure the "Accompany Lindsay to Goldenlight Hallow" step does not cause the "Secure Goldenlight Hallow" step to bug out. To prevent this you need to be sure not to run ahead of Magister Lindsay.
- It is not necessary to finish the entire instance in the time limit, as the achievement will be awarded upon filling the bar of the "Secure Goldenlight Hallow" objective.
- Achievement qualification may be tracked via the Achievement: Time Waits for No One effect.

Saved All Survivors Near Concordia

- This guide is for running the instance solo. If the instance is run with two or more players, there are more NPCs in more locations that need to be saved.
- Start the mission; clear Concordia and then save Magister Lindsay and the missing caravan in the cave. After clearing the cave, a number of allied NPCs will spawn with full health around Concordia (seven if playing solo, more if playing in a group). These NPCs typically spawn adjacent to a single Mordrem, but it's possible to see more as some foes respawn. The NPCs will be under the Adrenaline Rush effect, which makes them invulnerable to damage for 2 minutes.
- Run to each NPC in turn and prevent them from dying by killing each Mordrem foe, then interact with each NPC to tell them to retreat.
- The map on the right indicates their rough locations.
- The first three allies - all Vigil Crusaders - are a short distance southeast of the cave (it's a good idea to clear out any Mordrem there before helping Lindsay), with two of them near a bonfire, and the third at the top of a wooden watchtower.
- The fourth ally, a Caravan Guard, is near or in the river further southeast.
- The fifth and sixth allies (Priory Explorers) are due west at the entrance to another cave.
- The seventh, Crusader Brice, is found north of Concordia, not far from where the river narrows (finding two Mordrem there is very likely).
- Achievement qualification may be tracked via the Achievement: On Swift Wings effect.

Dialogue[edit]
- Approaching Rox and Braham
- Braham Eirsson: What in Wolf's name is happening? These vines... The kid was right again.
- Rox: (grumble) She's wrong sometimes too.
- Braham Eirsson: What'd you say?
- Rox: I said we should get moving, now that we're all here. From the look of it, they could use a hand.
- Braham Eirsson: I'll take the lead.
- Rox: Oh no, you don't! Not with that leg. You're still recuperating. Stay behind Frostbite. He's got a mean tail whip.
- Frostbite: (chitter)
- Braham Eirsson: Ganging up on me isn't fair. I'm fine. C'mon. Let's get this over with.
- If the player doesn't move past Rox and Braham
- Rox beckons to <Character name>.
- Rox: Let's move out.
- Approaching the fort
- Braham Eirsson: Let's do it!
- Rox: We're going to have to clean the whole place out!
- After clearing half of the enemies
- Tactician Art: Attention, everyone! We have more coming from the north.
- Rox: Charge!
- After clearing the camp
- Tactician Art: Tend to the wounded so we can get everyone inside.
- Tactician Art: Everyone inside. Close the gates!
- Rox: Back inside.
- After everyone is revived and inside the fort
- Tactician Art: Thanks for helping us out here. That attack caught us by surprise.
- Rox: You had no warning?
- Tactician Art: Well, a few small vines popped up after the Priory caravan arrived, but we didn't pay those any mind. Er, until they grew.
- Braham Eirsson: Priory caravan? Was it carrying the vines? Seeds?
- Tactician Art: Hmm, not that they mentioned. They did have some extremely old artifacts with them.
- Rox: I'd like to talk to the scholar in charge of the caravan.
- Tactician Art: They headed northwest with Lindsay to find the rest of the cavalcade. Some were separated from this lot.
- Braham Eirsson: What's your plan?
- Tactician Art: I'm taking this caravan along with everyone from Concordia to an asuran lab northeast of here, for safety.
- Rox: We can go along and provide additional security.
- Braham Eirsson: I want to find this Priory scholar and see where these vines came from. Why don't we split up? We can cover more ground that way.
- Rox: I don't know about that. Let's discuss it more.
- When speaking with Braham first
- Rox worries too much. My limp is completely gone! I should go with you to find Lindsay. What do you say?
- I don't know. Your leg might flare up. Perhaps it's best if you stay with Tactician Art and the caravan.
- It's fine; I promise. I want to get back in action. Rox can stay back and help Tactician Art.
- I'll consider it when I let Tactician Art know my decision.
- I'm not sure we should take the risk. I'll think on it and talk to Art.
- I'll consider which of you goes and let Tactician Art know when I decide.
- When speaking with Rox first
- I know Braham says his leg is fine, but that trip into Dry Top was hard on him. It'd be best if he stayed with Tactician Art's caravan. I can go with you to look for survivors.
- I'm not sure. I know he really wants to go.
- Braham wants to play the hero, sure, but is that in his best interest? Knock iron that nothing happens while he's out there...
- You're right. We should err on the side of caution. I'll let Tactician Art know.
- I feel like he'd tell me if he wasn't ready for action. I'm going to let Tactician Art know my decision.
- Let me think about it, and I'll let Tactician Art know which of you I decide should go.
- Let me think about it, and I'll let Tactician Art know which of you I decide should go.
- Speaking with Braham again (if agreeing with him)
- Have you let Tactician Art know that we're heading out to rescue survivors? I'm ready to get started!
- I've thought more about it. Are you sure you're up for it?
- Of course I'm up for it! Rox worries too much.
- All right. if [sic] you're sure, I'll let Tactician Art know.
- I'm not so sure. I think it would be best for you to stay with the caravan.
- I'll let him know.
- Speaking with Braham again (if agreeing with Rox)
- I don't want to go with the caravan. I should be out there fighting!
- Maybe you're right. I'll tell Tactician Art that you're coming with me. Rox can stay and defend the caravan.
- I know you want to help, but we need you to heal. I'm going to tell Tactician Art that you're staying with his caravan.
- Speaking with Rox again (if agreeing with Braham)
- I'm worried about this decision. What if Braham's leg gets worse?
- You're right. We should err on the side of caution. I'll let Tactician Art know.
- I feel like he'd tell me if he wasn't ready for action. I'm going to let Tactician Art know my decision.
- Speaking with Rox again (if agreeing with her)
- Have you let Tactician Art know your decision yet? I think it's for the best that Braham stay with the caravan, but he'll never admit to that.
- After a bit more thought, I may have changed my mind.
- The decision's ultimately yours, but I really think Braham would be better off escorting Tactician Art.
- All right, I'm sticking with my choice. I'll let Tactician Art know.
- I feel like he'd tell me if he wasn't ready for action. I'm going to let Tactician Art know my decision.
- Not yet, but I will.
- Speaking with Tactician Art
- I hope you've made a decision. We need to get underway. What do you intend to do?
- Rox and I will find Lindsay while Braham goes with you to Goldenlight Hallow lab.
- Braham and I will find Lindsay and join you at Goldenlight Hallow lab.
- Not just yet.
- If choosing Braham
- Tactician Art: Excellent. We'll see you and Braham at Goldenlight Hallow.
- Tactician Art: Let's move out, shall we? Raise the northern gate!
- Braham Eirsson: See you on the other side, Rox.
- Rox: Careful out there, Braham.
- Tactician Art: All right, form up—caravan in the middle.
- Tactician Art: We can handle clearing the main path. Go! Find as many attack survivors as you can.
- If choosing Rox
- Tactician Art: I see. I suppose we'll see you and Rox at Goldenlight Hallow, then.
- Tactician Art: Let's move out, shall we? Raise the northern gate!
- Rox: I'll be back before you know it. Don't get into too much trouble.
- Braham Eirsson: Don't do anything I wouldn't do!
- Tactician Art: All right, form up—caravan in the middle.
- Tactician Art: We can handle clearing the main path. Go! Find as many attack survivors as you can.
- Rox waves at <Character name>.
- Rox: Let's move out.
- Loitering with the caravan
- Tactician Art points at <Character name>.
- Tactician Art: Scour the countryside for victims of the attack and meet us at Goldenlight Hallow.
- Moving out with Braham
- Braham Eirsson: Hey! C'mon over here!
- Moving out with Rox
- Rox: I'm your shadow. Go.
- Speaking with Magister Lindsay after killing the enemies
- Thank goodness you found us. I was afraid we'd be trapped here. How did you know to look for us?
- We heard there was trouble at Concordia and came immediately.
- How bad are things over there? Have the items in the fort been compromised?
- I'm afraid so. The Vigil have retreated to the Goldenlight Hallow lab.
- What are we going to do now? Our caravans were carrying magical artifacts out here for safekeeping. The Krytan royal locket is among them.
- The Krytan royal locket?
- It's a magical locket. It's said to always have the image of the current heir to the throne of Kryta displayed inside it. It's quite beautiful.
- It sounds powerful.
- Very powerful. And coveted. We move it from fort to fort on an irregular schedule. I probably shouldn't even be telling you about it, but...you're you.
- My lips are sealed.
- Rox: Okay. Time to report to Tactician Art. (if she was picked to help rescue Lindsay)
- Ordering survivors to retreat (for On Swift Wings achievement)
- Vigil Crusader (charr): Time to get a move on.
- Vigil Crusader (sylvari): I do enjoy a good chase.
- Vigil Crusader (asura): Tactical retreat!
- Caravan Guard: Regroup!
- Priory Explorer (asura): Time to use our exit strategy.
- Priory Explorer (human): Great gods, am I happy you were here!
- Crusader Brice: Thank you for all your help.
- Arriving at Goldenlight Hallow
- Krewe Leader Seesa: Finally, something not so viney! Assist us at once!
- Krewe Leader Krattz: You! Consider yourself honorary lab assistants. Now, protect our lab!
- After clearing the lab
- Tactician Art: We got as many here as we could, though I'm not confident we're safe yet.
- Braham Eirsson: There were wounded all through the hills. This is a bad situation.
- Frostbite: (chirp)
- Rox: We should probably get over to Fort Salma. We're meeting friends there. Do you have this under control?
- Tactician Art: We're good. Thanks for your help. Safe journey.
- Speaking with Rox
- Do you think Tactician Art will be all right? This attack hit everyone here pretty hard...
- (If speaking for the first time)
- You two should stay behind to keep looking for survivors. I'll head to Fort Salma.
- Good. We've got this covered. How about we meet at Dry Top when we're done? I know Braham's worried about Taimi. We keep forgetting she's just a kid.
- A kid that was right about Concordia and that warned us about Fort Salma.
- Let me think a moment.
- (If speaking for the second time)
- I'm glad you and Braham are staying here. I'll have Kas and Jory with me at Fort Salma.
- Be safe. We should meet back in Dry Top to check in on Taimi after that. We keep forgetting she's just a kid.
- Sounds good. I'm off.
- Let me think a moment.
- Speaking with Braham
- I don't think we should leave yet. These people are still in shock and unorganized.
- Good point. Let me talk to Rox and see how she feels. We'll figure something out.
- (If already spoken with Rox)
- You're right. I'll head over to Fort Salma. You two stay here.
- Good plan. We can meet at Dry Top once this place is stabilized. I'm worried about Taimi.
- All right. See you later then.
- Speaking with Tactician Art
- It was good to have someone here for us as skilled as I am.
- What will you do now that Concordia is in ruins?
- More important people than me will decide that. I hope we rebuild, but it would be an expensive undertaking. This isn't the first attack we've weathered, but it is certainly the worst.
- Well, good luck with that.
- (If already spoken with Rox)
- I've decided that Rox and Braham will stay with you to provide continued security. I'm pressing on to Fort Salma.
- Glad to hear it. I feel safer knowing they're with us. We have so many to protect. Good luck at Fort Salma.
- Farewell.
- It was the least I could do.
- Speaking with Magister Lindsay
- Thank you for all of your help. The Priory will be a long time recovering from this attack.
- Can I ask you more about this caravan?
- Of course. We were traveling from Caer Evermore to Fort Concordia with a shipment of tomes and magical items in the care of the Durmand Priory.
- Why weren't they being kept at the Priory itself?
- We keep many objects there, but it wouldn't be smart of us to keep all of them in one place. We have magically protected rooms in various forts across Tyria.
- Are the artifacts you were carrying all right?
- Some are, but some appear to have had the magic bled right out of them. It's as if they've become normal everyday objects now. No power.
- And the Krytan locket?
- Its magical signature is weakened, but it wasn't completely destroyed. We'll return to the Priory with our shipment. I'm sure our scholars will want to study them.
- Best of luck to you.
- I see. Thanks for the information.
- Best of luck to you.
- Best of luck to you.
My story[edit]
|
“
While Taimi continued her research at the ley line hub, Rox, Braham, and I investigated the waypoint disruption at Concordia. We found the fort ravaged by jungle tendrils and other creatures. I led the search party that rescued Lindsay and some of her colleagues before fending off the remaining attackers at Goldenlight Hallow lab. Tactician Art mentioned that the vines started sprouting from the ground shortly after a shipment of magical artifacts arrived. I'm not sure of the connection there.
Rox made an offhand comment about Taimi. I think the kid is getting on her nerves.
