Dialogue[edit]
Diessa Plateau[edit]
- Male charr at Charrgate Haven
- Grendich or Oldgate. It's so tough to decide. Both places have ruins, and both promise a rich return on our time investment. Knowledge abounds in these plains. Knowledge and cow patties.
- I'll leave you to your decision.
- Female charr at Charrgate Haven
- There aren't many Durmand Priory explorers out this way. Any relics worth finding have been trampled by cattle or damaged by careless mill workers. This area is too organic for me.
- Where would you rather be?
- Lion's Arch. Now that's a place ripe for research. If you're a student of culture and racial interactions, as I am, you'd know what I mean. The people-watching alone could keep me busy for decades.
- Good to know.
- We all pay our dues. See ya.
Mount Maelstrom[edit]
- Talking to one during Solve the mystery of the haunted marsh with Queen Jennah present
- No! Something's not right... We've come so far... Don't listen to her! We're not enemies.
- Stay strong!
- Talking to one during Solve the mystery of the haunted marsh with Zojja present
- Knowledge through death? No! We must fight!
- Keep it up!
Brisban Wildlands[edit]
- At Koga Ruins
- You've come at a good time, adventurer. We need extra hands to gather mushrooms unique to this area. If you find any, I'll happily take them off your hands.
- (If holding Green Stinkhorn)
- Here, I found these in the swamp.
- Thank you very much! These will help our research greatly.
- I'll come back if I find some more.
- What's so special about these mushrooms?
- We've heard rumors of their healing properties, but we have little documentation. Imagine, a mystery waiting to be solved. Absolutely worth the trip out here.
- (If holding Green Stinkhorn)
- I have some right here. (same as "Here, I found these in the swamp.")
- If I find any, I'll bring them back here.
- I'll keep an eye out for the mushrooms.
Plains of Ashford[edit]
- At Ghostsummit
- Where can I dig up some choice artifacts?
- I have some ideas.
- The options are: the north or the northwest. Both present their own problems. So...
- The north seems a good place to start.
- How about the northwest?
- Give me some time to think about it.
- Outside Ascalonian Catacombs
- I need to find some artifacts, do you have any ideas where I should look?
- I might.
- The options are: the north or the northwest. Both present their own problems. So...
- The north seems a good place to start.
- How about the northwest?
- Let me get back to you.
- I need more time to consider this.
Fireheart Rise[edit]
- Human at Mangonel Bivouac
- I just don't get why we have to be out here. Sure, dwarven artifacts are interesting, but not as much as staying alive. Surely, we can make better weapons than the dwarves did.
- Why are you out here?
- My boss got it into his head that we need dwarven weaponry to win this war against the Flame Legion. Frankly, I think we're wasting our time, but I follow orders.
- Good luck.
- I'll help protect you if you want to go look now.
- I suppose. Stick close, though. I'm not keen on dying out here.
- Bye.
- Bye.
- Norn at Mangonel Bivouac
- When it came time to pick an order, I had one criterion—the cuisine. The Vigil will march for days without eating. You ask the Order of Whispers what's for dinner, you can't get a straight answer.
- And the Durmand Priory?
- They put a lot of thought into it. They can cook the moose around here 36 different ways. Mix ice elementals with cinnamon and they tase[sic] just like ice cream. Nothing makes blue oozes palatable though.
- You picked the Durmand Priory for the food?
- There's also the adventure. None of the other orders would be in a cave, way out here, looking for ancient dwarven artifacts and clues about the dragon minions. But yeah, mostly the food.
- Sounds like you made the right choice.
- As long as you're happy.
The Silverwastes[edit]
- Female human outside the Tangled Labyrinth
- Ahh, nice to see another person after all the long hours down here. Alone. In the dark. I've been searching for treasure in this unusual cavern for too long.
- What is this place, anyway?
- It's heavily influenced by Mordremoth. Vines have weaved a maze inside the cavern, and the dragon's minions roam its passageways.
- Yikes. Anything else I should know about?
- Although this maze is filled with treasures, a bioluminescent type of Mordrem wolf burrows its way in here to hunt.
- Glowing wolves? Sounds easy to spot.
- Glowing or not, they're much stronger than your average Mordrem wolves. They have only one weakness I know off.
- Which is?
- Light. Through some quirk of nature, a light-emitting flower grows here, and its glow can temporarily stun the wolves.
- Where there's treasure, there's trouble. Thanks.
Crystal Oasis[edit]
- Sylvari at Amnoon Civic Center
- We're headed to north to help explore an ancient dwarven mine in Fortune's Vale. That is, if the waitress ever gets back here with our tea order.
- Good luck on your adventure!
Verdant Brink[edit]
- Female sylvari at Jaka Itzel and charr in Shrouded Ruins
- Commander! It's good to see you!
- What are you doing here, soldier?
- We've formed a rally point for survivors and salvage, and we'll fly them out come morning.
- Sounds good. Let me ask something else.
- Understood, I will keep my eyes open for them.
- How can I help?
- Keep doing whatever you can to help out anyone in the area, and we'll set up more rally points.
- Good plan. Let me ask another question.
- Sounds good. I'll head out now.
- And you as well. Stay strong, soldier.
- Charr at Stonetwist Paths
- Commander! We're glad to see you survived. We've dug in here against the Mordrem.
- What's the situation, soldier?
- We've set up a rally point to gather troops nad supplies, but we're under regular Mordrem assault.
- I see. Let me ask another question.
- Understood. I'll leave you to it.
- What help do you need?
- We need to get troops and supplies to our position and defend it until we fly them out of here.
- Good plan. Let me ask another question.
- Very well, then. I'll leave you to it.
- Excellent! Carry on.
Auric Basin[edit]
- During Defend the Priory explorer as he purifies the spring at Maguuma Shallows and Defend the Priory explorer as she purifies the spring at Weeping Glade
- There's a blighted Maguuma spring nearby. If I can get this purifier to the spring, we can all benefit from the cleansed waters. Ready to make a break for it?
- Leave it to me. I'll get you there.
- How will purifying the spring help us?
- Scholar Keenwit summoned an elder arboreal spirit that restored the Maguuma waters' magic, making anyone who enters them become a Maguuma guardian. Each spring that's purified strengthens the effect.
- All right. Let's get going; I'll cover you.
- Maybe some other time.

Forsaken Thicket[edit]
- Sylvari in the Spirit Vale
- Some of our aircraft went down near here. I've been finding pieces scattered around the area, along with some journal entries. But I don't think they're related.
- What do you mean?
- The soldiers I know write letters to home or keep a journal on their combat experiences. It helps them cope. These entries read like they were written by criminals.
- Are you sure about that?
- Judge for yourself. I think someone got careless with his notebook and dropped some pages. Keep an eye open. There might be more out there.
- Will do.
The Echovald Wilds[edit]
- Gah! This was advertised as an "adventure" tour, but all we've done is look at a bunch of stones! Where's the adventure? The violence? I was promised violence! Let me down to fight Urgoz, you wimps!
- You haven't been bothered by the gangs?
- The gangs? Those twerps? Don't make me laugh. Took one look at me and ran the other way.
- Well then...
- Urgoz?
- A powerful forest spirit they've got sealed underground. Took over a big amber mine, or so the history books say. A worthy opponent if there ever was one.
- I see.
- I'm sure it'll get more interesting.
