Run Around for No Reason is an adventure in ??? in Jahai Bluffs in which the player needs to pass through floating objective markers as fast as possible. It is started by talking to Scarlet Briar. Both Scarlet Briar and the adventure marker on the map will only appear while within the area and under the influence of either Hallucination or Bad Trip.
Getting there[edit]
Run north from the Displaced Vizier's Tower point of interest or southeast from the Jungle Anomaly area.
Mechanics[edit]
The objective is to grab the floating objective markers as fast as possible and pass through the final checkpoint gate. A self correcting guide trail points to the next marker. The area has lower than usual gravity, making precision jumps more difficult but provides a boost to mount leap abilities.
Be careful when using mounts in the area as all mount movement abilities are dramatically boosted. Certain abilities such as Griffon or Springer jumps may boost you too high and it will take a long time to drop back down to ground level. The hostile enemies in the area deal low damage so the risk of dismount is low, but switching mounts may be difficult as you are likely to be put in combat.
