“Charge up a ball of blue flame and activate this skill again to fire it. The ball damages, burns, and knocks targets it hits a short distance. Deals bonus defiance bar damage when fully charged. Projectile behavior changes slightly based on charge level.

Mechanics[edit]
Jurisdiction is a channeled skill which has three charge levels, each with additional effects. Charge levels are indicated visually by the skill's animation and sound effect.
- At charge levels 1 and 2, channeling can be ended early by pressing Jurisdiction's sequence skill Fire Jurisdiction, which shoots a projectile with a corresponding effect.
- When fully channeled, it reaches charge level 3 and automatically fires a slower moving projectile, granting access to skill Detonate Jurisdiction. Detonation provides an AoE effect, including knockback against multiple enemies.
- Pressing and holding the skill's hotkey results in automatically shooting and detonating a charge level 3 projectile at melee range.

- Fiery Wrath — Deal increased strike damage to burning foes.
Radiance
- Inner Fire — Gain fury when you strike a foe that has burning stacks over the threshold.
- Radiant Fire — Zealot's Flame is improved. Burning you inflict has increased duration, and your torch skills gain reduced recharge.
- Amplified Wrath — Burning you inflict deals increased damage. Burning duration applied by the passive effect of Virtue skill 1 is increased.
Virtues
- Glacial Heart — Mighty Blow becomes Glacial Blow. Heal when you disable, immobilize, or chill a foe. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
Dragonhunter
- Dulled Senses — Cripple enemies that you disable. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
- Heavy Light — Gain stability when disabling an enemy. Deal increased strike damage to disabled or defiant foes. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
Firebrand
- Stoic Demeanor — Retain Courage passive while it is on cooldown. Grant boons to nearby allies when you disable, immobilize, or slow an enemy. Disables include stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, launch, taunt, and fear.
