Dialogue[edit]
- Greetings, traveler. This part of the forest isn't kind to strangers. I'd be careful, wandering about... I've heard whispers. Cries. Something is disturbed here.
- Thanks for the warning. What's a ranger doing all the way out here, alone?
- I'm never alone with my companion by my side. My name is Faas. I am one of the untamed.
- What do you mean by "untamed"?
- The untamed are one with the forest... We've largely abandoned society and have become one with the... wild side of nature.
- That sounds like a soulbeast.
- Ah, I've heard of them! Alas, their practice is far more spiritual. They become one with their pet while we... My companion and I take turns sharing the burden of the untamed.
- What is the "burden of the untamed"?
- In layman's terms, it is a...corruption, of sorts. Deep, primal energies that we pass back and forth. It's like a dance. A dangerous, primal waltz.
- I'm curious about something else.
- Ask away, I've got plenty of time
- What do you mean by "untamed"? (Same as above)
- What sort of weapons do you use? (Same as "Is that a hammer..." below)
- What's so special about the untamed? (Same as below)
- What are you doing out here alone? (Same as below)
- Great, thank you for sharing.
- Tell me the rest another time.
- This sounds like a long story. Maybe I'll come back later
- Is that a hammer? Curious. I've never seen a ranger use one.
- Untamed specialize in the use of hammers, but we can also wield any weapon that a normal ranger can well enough. I find the hammer to be...brutal. There is beauty in the ferocity.
- Hammers are pretty slow, aren't they?
- Maybe a little slower than a sword or dagger, but the thump of a hammer is always satisfying when it connects with your foe... The crushing of... Er, should we return to a more casual topic?
- I'm curious about something else. (Same as above)
- I suddenly am very much eager to end this conversation
- Maybe a little slower than a sword or dagger, but the thump of a hammer is always satisfying when it connects with your foe... The crushing of... Er, should we return to a more casual topic?
- Fascinating. Thanks for the information
- What's so special about the untamed?
- We can draw upon the forest and channel powerful nature magic. Unleashing this magic empowers our strikes, but it also makes us more susceptible to enemy attacks. It's an elegant, vicious dance.
- What about your companion there?
- I can unleash this primal magic on my companion as well, yes, though only one of us can channel it at any given time. It is the ultimate display of trust... The strength of our bond never wavers.
- I'm curious about something else. (Same as above)
- Well, your little friend there deserves lots of treats.
- I'm curious about something else. (Same as above)
- We'll continue this conversation another time.
- I can unleash this primal magic on my companion as well, yes, though only one of us can channel it at any given time. It is the ultimate display of trust... The strength of our bond never wavers.
- What are you doing out here alone?
- I'm never alone with my friend at my side. The shadow of Echovald, it...calms us. There are ancient, primal magics beneath the canopy. We chose to live among those magics. Breathe them in.
- Ancient, primal magics?
- Yes, the spirits of the forest are potent. As the jade melts and life returns to the forest...ancient voices are emerging. The Speakers hear them, the Wardens protect them. Open your ears. Listen.
- I'm curious about something else. (Same as above)
- Thank you for sharing that with me.
- Interesting.
- Sounds interesting, but I must be on my way.
- What are you doing in this part of the forest? (Same as "What are you doing out here alone?" above)
- I'm just looking around, but thanks for the warning.
Notes[edit]

Trivia[edit]
- Faas is a German surname, derived from the Latin masculine name Gervasius. Due to the origin of this name, it is likely that Faas is of Kurzick descent.
