Walkthrough[edit]
The detonator charges need to be placed on the ship to work, which means you and Tonn will need to swim to it. The area is infested with Risen Mines (that can't be targeted and continuously explode without disappearing), Risen Sharks, and Risen Krait. If you're careful, you can avoid all the mines and enemies on the way to the ship. Clear out the Risen Sharks from beneath the ship; these need to be eliminated before Tonn can plant the bombs. After he's done, swim back to the island you started on.
The detonator indicates that there's some problem with the explosives, so Tonn swims back to the bone ship to fix them. Meanwhile, krait (live ones, not Risen) assault your position on the island. After defending against a few waves, the detonator indicates that the bombs are ready, so interact with it. A cutscene plays showing the ship blowing up. To finish the mission, swim back towards the wreckage until another cutscene plays.

Dialogue[edit]
Approaching Tonn (cinematic):
- <Character name>: Ready when you are, Tonn. After all we went through to get this, I can't wait to see it explode.
- Demolitionist Tonn: Then you're in for a treat. We have an unobstructed view of the target from here. Now, we simply need to plant the bomb, get clear, and flip the switch.
- Demolitionist Tonn: Not that simple means easy. Floating mines surround the ship, the waters are thick with undead sharks, and we're in krait territory.
- Demolitionist Tonn: These Pact soldiers are here to help protect the detonator, but you and I still have to do all the heavy lifting.
- Demolitionist Tonn: Or to be accurate, the heavy swimming. Let's hit the water. The sooner we're done splashing around, the sooner we see that bone ship go boom.
Speaking to Crusader Gilley:
- Crusader Gilley: Don't worry about the detonator. We'll keep this area secure. You just make sure the payload gets to the target.
- Count on it. We're not leaving until that ship goes down.
Speaking to Tonn:
- Demolitionist Tonn: This is it, partner. We sink the bone ship, cover ourselves in glory, then I move on to the next target and you move on to more commander-type stuff. Sad, really: we make a great team.
- I have a question before we start.
- I'm all ears. Aw, come on. That's worth at least a smile. I should get a gold star for keeping it in reserve as long as I did. Anyway, what's your inquiry?
- I'd like to go over the mission.
- It's pretty straightforward. You and I swim out and plant the charges. Then we come back here to the detonator, flip the switch and bim-bam-boom! No more bone ship.
- I have another question.
- All right. Let's hit the water.
- Why is the bone ship so dangerous?
- It's a devastating warship, a veritable symbol of Zhaitan's nautical dominance. Sinking it isn't just tactically vital; it'll boost our side's morale!
- I have another question.
- Then let's sink it.
- Okay, I'm ready. Let's go.
- It's been a pleasure, Tonn. Now let's do this.
After the explosives are set:
- Demolitionist Tonn: Payload delivered. Now let's paddle ourselves outta here, on the double.
When returning to the detonator (cinematic):
- Demolitionist Tonn: Hold onto your ears everyone. This is going to be my masterpiece...wait, something's wrong.
- Demolitionist Tonn: The detonator is showing red. The connections were perfect. Something must be knocked out of position.
- Crusader Gilley: Sir! We have krait inbound. Closing fast, and they look like they mean business.
- Demolitionist Tonn: All right, I'll reset the charges on the ship, you keep the krait off the detonator.
- <Character name>: I don't like leaving you unprotected. Between the krait and the sharks...
- Demolitionist Tonn: I can handle the cartilaginous cretins that are still out there, and the krait are focused on this position. They won't even notice me.
- Demolitionist Tonn: That ship has to go down. I'll signal when the bomb is ready and I'm clear. When the detonator goes green, throw the switch and enjoy the show.
After defeating the krait:
- Crusader Gilley: There's the signal! We can't hold this position much longer. Set off the charges. Now!
After detonating the charges (in-game cut scene):
- Crusader Gilley: Tonn should've been back by now. Let's swim out there and see, if we can spot him.
Swimming back (in-game cut scene):
- Crusader Gilley: I see something...by the gods, it's Tonn! He's dead.
- Crusader Gilley: I was sure he signaled us. Was the explosion bigger than he expected?
- Crusader Gilley: We have to report this. You head back to shore. I'll bring in Tonn.
Speaking to Crusader Gilley:
- Crusader Gilley: What happened, Commander? We had the go-ahead signal. I saw it. You saw it. By the gods, why would Tonn sacrifice himself like that?
- It must have been the only way to complete the mission.
- This is a huge loss for the Pact. Tonn was the best demolitionist we had. When he wasn't coming up with new explosives, he was coming up with new ways to employ them.
- Trahearne needs to be informed of this.
- Of course. I'll send a message right away. Maybe we can get by on Tonn's completed work, but that won't last forever. We'll need to adjust our plans.
- True. And we'll need to inform his wife.
- Dwayna's mercy, you're right. Tonn always checked in with Ceera after big missions. She's...waiting to hear from him.
- Tonn was my partner. I'll do it. I'll inform Ceera.
- Thank you, Commander. I don't envy what you're about to do. Tell her Tonn died a hero. It won't soften the news, but it may help her cope in the long run.
- Thanks. I'll do my best.

Notes[edit]
- It is not possible to save Tonn. You can follow him and let the krait defeat your allies by the switch (the krait won't take/tamper with the switch itself), but Tonn simply swims out a ways and waits at the point where you'll find his body later (instead of heading to the ship to check on the charges like he said he would). Returning to the island, defeating the krait waves, and using the switch (when it turns green, even though no krait will come after that, and Tonn is still passively waiting there, nowhere near the ship) is the only way to progress the story.
