Dialogue[edit]
- Speaking to him for the first time
- Greetings, <Profession>. I've seen you—your people—and what you're capable of. How lucky you must be... I was lucky, once.
- Was?
- I've been around a long time, little one. Seen the rise and fall of empires. The corruption of my people—multiple times. No amount of luck in the world can last through all that.
- But what about Kuunavang?
- She's different than I. Bolder. Stronger. When I saw what happened to her, centuries ago... I thought it was over for all of us. But with the help of a group of heroes, she recovered. And I watched.
- Have you spoken to her?
- Not since before the affliction, centuries ago. I watched her build a bond with the mother of the sea—your "Soo-Won"—but I could never muster the courage—or energy—to show myself.
- So why show up now?
- To be truthful, little one, I did not plan on you finding me. When I heard the roar of the Void, I assumed the worst. But then I heard what came after: your airships. Your strength. Your kindness.
- We weren't going to let the Void destroy the world.
- Indeed, and Cantha is lucky you arrived. The world is lucky, too. And that's why I was watching you. You bring good fortune to all around you. Could you perhaps...do the same for me?
- How so?
- Journey the world once over. Search for areas to do good deeds. Bring fortune to those who do not have it. Prove to me that our meeting was one of good luck, not one that leads to even more death.
- I'll do it.
- Solve my riddles. Perhaps you'll need luck on your side to find them all.
- Let's hear your riddles, Albax.
- On it!
- Another time.
- We'll talk another time.
- I see.
- I see.
- I'm sorry.
- I see.
- Speaking to him again
- Solve my riddles. Perhaps you'll need luck on your side to find them all.
- Let's hear your riddles, Albax.
- What's your story, Albax?
- I've seen you, <Profession>—your people—and what you're capable of. How lucky you must be... I was lucky, once.
- Was?(same as above)
- I see.
- Understood.
