- Peasant: That smell... It's delicious.

- Citizen: Can I get some of your simmered mushroom soup? My wife can't go a day without it.
- Citizen: Every time Mingli's on this side of town, I have to stop by. You can smell his soup a mile back.
- Mingli: Here...a sip of my ginger root stew will clear up that stomachache of yours in no time, Rin.
- Peasant: Thanks, Mingli.
- Mingli: Wait... What...was that? Did you hear something?
- Peasant: Huh?
- Mingli: Oh, no... Not again.

- Mingli: It can't be the mushroom stew. It drives patrons to their knees, not mad!
