Patch	Changes
November 28, 2023	This trait no longer extends berserk duration by a flat amount and instead causes Primal Burst skills to extend berserk duration by 2 seconds in PvE and 1 second in PvP and WvW when striking an enemy, once per skill. Decapitate will extend berserk mode by 1 second in PvE.
May 02, 2023	This trait now grants 15% (5% in WvW) increased critical-strike chance while in berserk mode in addition to its current effect.
April 23, 2019	This trait no longer reduces recharge of berserk mode and primal bursts. Instead, it extends the duration of berserk mode by 5 seconds.
May 16, 2017	The cooldown reduction received from this trait has been reduced from 33% to 20%.
October 23, 2015	Heart of Thorns release: Smash Brawler has been added to the game.

Trivia

• The name of this trait is likely a reference to the fighting game Super Smash Bros. Brawl, while the icon of the trait resembles Ridley from the Metroid game series. Despite having only appeared in the franchise as a boss when the trait was introduced, Ridley became a playable fighter in the series' most recent release.
