Mechanics[edit]
- As the description states, the effect does not stack. Each individual hit will reset the duration to 6 seconds. Due to the way many skill sets are set up, it might be necessary to swap to another weapon and use another 20+ second cooldown skill in combat in order to refresh the effect.
- The 7% increased strike damage does not apply to the hit granting the effect.
- The 20+ second cooldown requirement applies to the skill's base cooldown. Skill recharge reduction from traits such as Zealous Blade does not prevent skills with a 20+ second base cooldown from activating the relic. For example Vital Draw will still activate the relic even when its cooldown is reduced to 17 seconds by Sinister Shroud.
- For ammunition skills the count recharge is ignored. A skill may have a count recharge of 20+ seconds, but will not activate the relic unless the base cooldown is 20+ seconds.
- If the activating skill continues to generate hits, such as with Barrage, it will continue to refresh the relic's effect until it ends.
- Since the March 19, 2024 update all Engineering Kit skills and all Conjure skills do not trigger this relic.
