Notes[edit]

  • Although not mentioned in the description, the pet is also affected by this skill.
  • Your character may occasionally shout the following line when activating this skill:
    • Owe you one!
    • Thanks, friend.
  • In the first beta version of this skill, the ranger would drain half of their pet's health to heal themselves. The voice lines were never updated after the skill was reworked in the following beta.

Version history[edit]

Patch Changes
November 07, 2023
  • Reduced the duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds in PvP only.
November 29, 2022
  • This skill no longer prevents lethal damage, and instead it prevents all incoming strike and condition damage for its duration.
February 28, 2022 End of Dragons release:
  • Perilous Gift has been added to the game.
November 30, 2021
  • Perilous Gift was available during the End of Dragons Beta Event 4.
  • This skill now heals a percentage of the player's missing health instead of draining health from their pet. The no-death buff and subsequent heal are also applied to the player's pet. This skill grants superspeed if the player is unleashed, and grants stability if the player is not unleashed.
