Major Kodan Cache

Major Kodan Caches are chests found in Janthir. Each chest can be opened once per day per account. It can be opened using a Kodan Cache Key. Extra Unusual Coin's can be acquired while under the effect of Lowland Expertise

- Low chance to be upgraded into Piece of Rare Unidentified Gear , Full Moon weapon, Ursan Ornamented weapon or Named equipment
2 random drops, each with a chance for:
- Piece of Common Unidentified Gear (1-3)
- Piece of Unidentified Gear (1-2)
- Piece of Rare Unidentified Gear (1)
One of the following:
- Piece of Common Unidentified Gear (1)
- Piece of Unidentified Gear (1)

Each area seems limited to one spawned chest. Opening a cache will cause other instances' chest in that area to be unopenable.
- This puts the maximum available chests at 10 for Lowland Shore and 11 for Janthir Syntri, when excluding areas where no chests have been found.
- Each area seems to have 4 possible spawn locations.

The Mursaat Runestone drop rate was stealth nerfed from 80-90% with the September 10, 2024 update.
