Far Shiverpeaks
The Far Shiverpeaks are the northernmost part of the Shiverpeak Mountains. It was the ancestral home of the norn and contains the Sanctum of the Wild where the norn and the Spirits of the Wild first met. In the year 1165 AE when the Elder Dragon Jormag awoke they caused the norn and the Kodan that inhabited the Far Shiverpeaks to flee to the south, where they would have to seek shelter, resulting in the foundation of Hoelbrak.
The region is now the home of Jormag and their champion Drakkar. All local settlements are now abandoned or occupied by the Icebrood and the Sons of Svanir, with the exception of Jora's Keep which has been taken over by the Vigil as a stronghold in the region.
The Far Shiverpeaks is also the location of the Eye of the North, a mysterious monument of unknown origin that was occupied by the Ebon Vanguard during the 1070's.
