Guild Arena UI.png

The Guild Arena is located in the guild hall and run and maintained by Castor Shoutsman. It is an area for guild members to use as a combat sandbox and customize it with obstacles and traps. New strategies or tactics may be tested and practiced by Guild Teams and members, but no rewards are available. The ruleset in the arena (PvE, PvP, or WvW) can be set per player by speaking to Castor Shoutsman. Heart of Thorns Expansion is required to use the Guild Arena since interaction with an arena coordinator NPCs is required.

Acquisition[edit]

The Guild Arena will become available once you have created Workshop Restoration 1.

Arena Restoration 1 will setup a temporary structure in the Guild Hall while work begins on building the full Arena. Arena Restoration 2 will give you access to the full Guild Arena.

Waypoint[edit]

Gilded Hollow arena portal

in Lost Precipice, the arena has its own waypoint facilitating easy access. It appears together with the arena after completing Arena Restoration 1.

In Gilded Hollow, the arena waypoint appears after completing Arena Restoration 2. Access is via the shimmering portal near Castor Shoutsman.

Arena entry[edit]

Speak to one of the coordinator NPCs to determine your team (red, blue, green, or none) and style of play (2 teams, 3 teams, free-for-all and unkillable).

NPCs[edit]

The arena and associated NPCs appear after corresponding guild upgrades are completed.

Coordinators

Appear at their respective colored shield map icon by the waypoint near the arena. All require the Heart of Thorns expansion.

Decorations[edit]

There are several types of arena decorations, which are obstacles that may affect the flow of combat in the arena. They may be placed by guild members with the Arena Decorator privilege. Decorations may be viewed or placed after talking with the Arena Obstacles Coordinator.

Notes[edit]

  • As of January 30th, 2024, players can choose to enter a team by speaking to Geit Sken. This enables PvP with players on opposing teams without being teleported into the Guild Arena.
