Updrafts allow players to ascend while they are gliding. In order to be able to use updrafts, players must have the Updraft Use mastery unlocked.

Notes

• Entering an updraft with a glider deployed will also refill the glider's stamina bar.
• With Enhanced Updrafts mastery trained, entering an updraft while mounted on a skyscale or griffon will also refill the flight meter and endurance bar, respectively.
• While updrafts are usually not marked on the map in open world zones, there are four updraft icons in raid maps: by Gorseval's Perch in Spirit Vale raid and three in the Prison Camp in Salvation Pass raid, indicated via the icon .
