What the hell is up with all these notices?! -- Armond Warblade 08:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Will there be some kind of auction house, or will we continue to have only the real-time trading that occurs in GW1?--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:199.126.31.106 (talk) .
- That's unknown as of yet. -- Plingggggg \ Talk 00:59, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'd love a formal auction house that's more organized than the Party Search system. Calor 01:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
The Story
What is Guild Wars 2 all about?
- We can really only speculate, but The Movement of the World contains all the backstory for GW2, so you can guess from there. Calor 20:00, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- The five dragons of tyria that have escaped.86.137.47.146 17:01, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Interaction between races
I'm not sure is this is the right place to put this, but has any information been released on how the different races interact with each other outside guild halls/Lion's arch?
(For example, it seems the humans and charr are, in general, fighting each other. Does this mean that charr and humans would not be able to enter each other's outposts/persistent areas/towns, but would be able ot meet each other in, say, Norn or Asura areas?) Other questions like these would also be interesting to hear about.98.212.211.163 01:10, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sadly, no. The Movement of the World has a bit on race interaction, but besides that, no. There's very little info released by Anet pertaining to GW2. Calor 01:16, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Now we know some details from the MMORPG.com interview from December 08, 2009 Markus Clouser 22:56, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Its gonna be a sad moment....
when it comes to leave my 8 chars behind, Ive not being playing as long as some people but I have spent over 3k hours in game in almost 2 years (I was afk for almost 2-3 months)
Been through a lot with my chars & they will be sadly missed as I dont expect to return to GW1 unless GW2 is really really really crap... I mean who goes back to playing old games?? obviously every game will have its fanatics & die hards that will remain with GW1 making sure that it isnt completely barren of life
but it will be a sad but happy moment none the less

- can you imagine trying to do the final 3 missions in NF after GW2? I had to pay ppl from my own guild to do it with me Dan De Ka 19:21, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Lol, I PUG'ed it.--70.71.240.170 17:31, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't think it will be sad because instead of doing the same campaign with all your characters every different chaacter will have different campaign unlike other MMO's. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
Main Page?
Does anyone besides me think this should be off the Main Page? At this point I think it is the most commonly sought after information and it's a bit buried. --Falseprophet 16:15, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
I have a question on the skill bar, will there be a skill bar or will it be like WoW where you just have a bunch of skills at your use of any time you feel necessary? --Bigg 18:24, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, there will be a skill bar similar to GW1 --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:88.106.34.109 (talk) .
PvP
About the FAQ, it says "Two PvP modes have been announced, but not formally named. "Structured PvP" will be similar to GvG and other PvP styles already present in OGW." Can anyone confirm about the "other PvP styles", I haven't seem that anywhere else, someone could just have put it assuming it would be that way without having any reliable sources, all other places I've checked so far say it is similar to GvG, but not about other PvP from OGW. I found the change that added about "other PvP styles" here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/index.php?title=Guild_Wars_2%2FFAQ&diff=6978&oldid=6977 If there is no reliable source I'll remove it. 201.82.41.163 21:32, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
- Wouldn't "Structured PvP" just be the same thing we've had all along in Guildwars1 for "E-sport" reasoning?. I know for a fact that Lots of info was infact divulged already on what separates the 2 different types of PvP they have planned; (Reference = Interviews with the Devs) however, I don't recall any Actual references to "GvG" specifically... only to Arena style like what already exists in GW1 where everyone is the same level and uses Weaponry that adheres to a specific leveled-Playingfield rule-set. Followed by the NEW mode of World-PvP where player level, group-size, and gear actually makes the biggest difference. There could be any number of different sub categories of competition stemming from those 2 distinctions right there. With any number of mini-games or objective styles separating them even further (IE: GvG, Polymock, Competitive missions, Onslaught, CTF, Sieges and Assault, Tower defense, Stealth ops and Sabotage, Supply Denial, etc...) --ilr

Professions and Races

- We don't know what professions the game will have, and we don't know whether those professions will be limited to a specific race. -- Pling \ talk 00:15, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- We do now know that any race will be able to be any profession, whatever those are. It has been stated so in the UFragTV interview with Eric Flannum from PAX day 3 (at around 5 hrs). Shall we add this to the Character section (either Races or Professions)? · LOQUAY · 14:49, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
- I couldn't watch the video for some reason, I'll try again later. I've included the info in the professions section. I might change the wording of the question later when I've thought about it more, I'm not sure it's very clear. --Aspectacle 00:22, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Flying
can you fly in guild wars 2 some people say you can is it true? (added on behalf of 24.180.65.80 from main page) Peter Higgins 02:02, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- The answer is "we don't know" - we only know about jumping. Flying is a possibility, but we don't know. -- Konig Des Todes 08:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Q: Will Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2TM feature flight capabilities?
- A: No, flight is not a featured character capability in Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2.
- (Source: Guild Wars: Your Wings Await!) --Itay Alon 12:41, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well you cannot fly as a normal character but that is not to say you cannot fly in some kind of creature that you ride or get eaten by like in nightfall with the junudu worms, that you could on to the sulphuric plains with. does this idea piss any1else off?
first they say late 2008 then early 2009 then 2010-2011? this is seriously making me want to quit gw entirely i feel like they just need to give up on it i bet they havnt even started...plus mroe and more people every day are quiting guild wars, towns used to be filled with atleast 2 districts no matter where you were but now it seems there's no more then 7 people per town. i cant say i want gw to stay they same cause they fucked it up already but hey its better thne waiting for what is it 4 years now? to play something people are eventually gonna stop caring about because of their excitement is just gonna go down i like the ideas they have really but im gonna be done with MMOs by the time it comes out cause theres no way ima gonna go over to WoW
if any1 else agrees with me say so in this topic cause i feel strongly im not the only one and if you dissagree explain why66.58.179.251 06:23, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Anet never said the game would be released late 2008. They said the beta would be, and then the beta would be out early 2009. Early 2009 is not over. What I hate is the fact that people who can't even spell right think they know how difficult it is to make a game. I looked into programming and I found it annoying beyond belief - but that's me. It takes longer than a year to get a brand-new game into a beta position. GW started development, if I'm correct, in 2001, and was released when? 2005, four years later. 2010 sounds MUCH more reasonable than 2008. The only reason why Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North took a short time was because most of the mechanics were already made. However, with GW2, they are starting from scratch, and with a just as big, or bigger, world than Prophecies - which, might I add, was bigger than the 3 later GW1 games.
- Stop QQ'ing and play another game for a year. It's not like you are paying a monthly fee for the game. -- Konig Des Todes 08:05, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

- Lol @ "towns used to be filled with atleast 2 districts no matter where you were but now it seems there's no more then 7 people per town" haha, this noob must never visit kamadan American d1, or any of the 9-14 districts of shing jea monestary American. This guy is seriously idiotic. Yes, lets quit making a game that takes longer than whats expected because a noob says so.
Look back thru time and see the games that took longer than expected, and tell me how many of those games came to fail horribly....
- Not only that, but if you like WOW so much, why did you buy GW in the first place? Kaon Frostblade 13:29, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Pets?
This is going to sound really dumb, but I didn't see it on the FAQ. What about the pets, the kind you can get with the Ranger profession in OGW? Will they be separate from the party like the Companions, or maybe they ARE the companions?
Any word on this?
- I read that there are going to be pets in the game but if you dont have one then you will be "buffed" so it would really be 2 on 1. So yea i read that somewhere but i forgot where lol.- IcyyyBlue
pets

Q&A WISH LIST
This is a more organized list of what people above are saying. In short sentences, ask a question that hasn't been already answered. Hopefully, in due time ArenaNet will take the time and answer some of these questions, when the answers become clearer :) Please read through the whole list and don't add questions that are already stated. MadSkillz1o1 18:55, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
1. Q: What will happen to pets? 2. Q:Will all professions be available to all races (for example, Norn Assassins or Asuran Warriors) 3. Q: For the Gw2 wiki, will I have to re-upload my gw1 character pictures so I can display them on my User Page ? Because it doesn't seem to be working when I put it like bracket bracket gw1:image:example bracket bracket if anyone can clear this up to me I would be really thankful.
- 1.You can still have pets but that will no longer give you an advantage in battles.
- 2.Hasnt been stated yet.
- 3.not sure I understand lol.Thats what i know, just ask me more ive read about gw2 in the wiki i can answer many questions/look them up for you -- IcyyyBlue
- 1:A All players will have a "companion"(hero like, ranger pet we dont know) that will work as a pet and when w/o you will be buffed. rangers might have additional skills and ability's for them.(speculation)
- 2:A Yes.
- 3:A I think you might be doing it wrong.
- 1. Pets: One thing I will say is that companions, pets and minions is a very active area of development. (Mike O'Brien).
- 2. Yes

Q: Will environmental weapons be retain-able? Basically, can I pick up a rock, put it in my backpack, use my sword for a while, then re-equip the rock at a later point to throw at a distant enemy? This would have great tactical use at the cost of causing inventory clutter.
5. NPC Help(Heros and Henchmen)
Q: Will you have NPC help in the game.
A: From what I have read NPC's Will help you can even bring some along with you into the instanced world. Source PCZINE Issue 46. Would this count as henchmen.
Please edit formatting and spelling if need be as I am entering this on my iPod so can't see what I'm typing. Will different weapons give different skills if they are of the same type, say an earth prism and earth scroll giving different skills, and a unique item giving unique skills that only that item can give? Spiritual Summons 06:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- no they would give you the same skills since theyre both offhands and idk about the unique item thing it could happen but more than likely unique items will just have nicer stats than normal ones, if theyre in gw2 at all. 69.171.160.129 13:26, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- If that "4." up above was you too, then I'll answer that. No, you can't store environmental items. If you pick it up and don't want to keep using it, then you drop it.
- And like the IP says (kind of), no, any axe in your main hand will give you the same main hand axe skills. --ஸ Kyoshi 13:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Intel Graphics?
I have an Intel Graphics card, and I note that it is NOT supported in some places in Nightfall and EotN. Will it be supported in GW2? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.69.254.164 (talk) .
- Probably not, newer games tend to have higher system requirements. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 09:32, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

I think you're gonna have to move some sliders waaaaay o'er to the left. New game: bigger requirements. Even if they keep them as low as possible, it's all relative. Next years "low" is this years "high".--64.59.144.23 15:38, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

"Do each of the races start in different areas? "
"No. ArenaNet want you to be able to play with your friends if you want to even if you choose different races. Each race however has a slightly different storyline available to it." I think it's wrong. In this [1] article Ree Soesbee said that races starts in different areas. 83.7.26.41 09:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- I took my reference from here where Eric Flannum says "We looked into dividing the races early on, and we decided against that, specifically because we want you to be able to play the race that you want and also be able to play with your friends. We didn't want to fracture our player base by having a good-versus-evil vibe going on between the players themselves." I think that I over generalised his statement to be about starting points rather than simply leaving it about the combat aspect. Thanks for pointing that out I'll improve that section. --Aspectacle 09:48, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
I didn't think that's what they meant. I thought they meant they were going to start you in 4 different ,places 2 of which are divinty's reach and rata sum, and then soon in the game join you up at some place like lions arch by going through an Asura Gate. 86.137.47.146 16:53, 12 January 2011 (UTC)86.137.47.146

Pre-Release Download
Is there going to be the possibility of having a Pre-Release Download for the game.
So we can Download the game and install it onto our computers BEFORE the Game is official active.
This given players the ability to play the game as soon as it comes active.
This meaning we don't need to stand in a line at our local gaming store for a day and a half. Like some people do.
(:Bloodline: Lucky - Cheers 05:24, 13 April 2010 (UTC))
- The closest thing I can think of that sounds like that would be the beta. For the full game though I'm pretty sure you'll have to buy it in a box from a store, unless they release it via the in-game store, which is unlikely. Taros 12:04, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- I would say it is more likely to be pre-released early from the in-game store. The disks you get in the box will already be a few months old, so really you just need the cd key. If you have the latest beta, you would be closer than the gold copy of the game. ArenaNet gave away the BMP for pre-purchasing EOTN for the in-game store, so I would expect some sort of reward(head start, like factions and prof had maybe). Obie Quiet 13:27, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
In-Game Voice Chat?
Is in-game voice chat a possibility?
Using an external voice chat system (Ventrillo, TeamSpeak, Xfire) is easy to set up and use for a Clan/Guild. True!
But if your just playing with some random party of people you want to easily talk to them... without having to type in your 30 page essay on the mission your trying to complete, you can say some simple instructions on how to complete your mission.

Dynamic Events Reset?
I just read the article about Dynamic Events on guildwars2.com and I would now like to ask a question that's been eating at me since the release of the GW2 Design Manifesto on Arena Net's blog. If there will be dynamic events that will be ever changing depending on the interaction of the players, do they ever reset or do they go back and forth? For example, in the example that Colin Johanson gave in his Dynamic Events article, he mentioned that while exploring an underwater cave, picking up a glowing orb might trigger the release of an evil creature, which will continue with a series of events. Will I ever be able to be the one to pick up that glowing orb? Or does the 1 lucky player in the game get that honor and the rest of the players just get to play the eternally cycling subsequent events? --Musha 16:04, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- I imagine it cycles around and around. They said it was circular in pattern, after all. I can get the quote for you if you want ^^ --Amannelle 16:17, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yes please! I would GREATLY appreciate that! :D --Musha 16:29, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- Here you go! :) It's a quote by Colin Johanson: "It’s important to clarify that the event system is cyclical in nature. Events will occur again in the game world; they go in cycles where chains of events cascade out based on decisions and actions taken by the players. These events change the world when they occur, but it isn’t a change that lasts forever in the persistent world, it’s a change that lasts as long as the event chains in the area continue along that path until they cycle around into other events, all driven by player actions." Going by that, it seems things will reset over time, allowing events to have different outcomes and such. :) --Amannelle 16:39, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well thank you very much for that information! That does clarify everything for me. --Musha 17:10, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

HoM account vs. character
" Are Hall of Monuments achievements by character or by account?
By account. A player may link a Guild Wars 2 account to a Guild Wars account using an in-game item in Guild Wars 2. All characters on the account will then be able to access the rewards from the Hall of Monuments."
How does this jive with the decision you make with Kimmes The Historian? (Satanael | talk) 19:17, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- The decision you make with Kimmes is visibility in gw1. It won't affect that all of your achievements will/would be over on gw2, but I think even there that there might be an option to show what you'd want to be shown. Ariyen 19:29, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Continuous or not?
I heard some people saying the world will be continuous, but I though it would be divided into areas you have to load much like in GW1, just with other people already there. Any news about this? I've been seeing this question around quite a few times. MithTalk 23:19, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- My current understanding can be roughly described as Guild Wars without each group having their own copy of the map. A F K When Needed 23:29, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
- Any more information on this? The demos seemed to allude to this (from what I've seen) but no one has mentioned anything like this since then. It would be nice for this as it would be less taxing on the computers since they only have to load the zone the player is in. 68.144.77.185 10:21, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Game
When it says it will be continues does that mean it will continue after you have finished the game so you could still be making your own personal storyline? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
- No. Continuous refers to the manner areas interact with each other. Continuous means all zones flow over into one another, whereas instanced means all zones have seperate loading screens and exits.
As per above; Guild Wars 2 is a continuous, persistant world.- Infinite - talk 19:32, 1 January 2011 (UTC) - I stand corrected; it appears cities and bigger outposts are seperated by a portal. Whether this is true for explorable areas remains unknown. - Infinite - talk 15:58, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Equipment
Will the armor be as it was in GW1, or will they have stats on the armor and better armor = better stats?--Hashal95 02:00, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
- There's no information on mechanic specifics yet, but you can be almost sure that it will be similar to GW1's system, given everything they've said about anti-grind philosophy, not needing specific "best" drops or gear, etc. Arshay Duskbrow 06:13, 14 August 2010 (UTC)

Personal Story Repeatable?
So, changes in the personal story are permanent. If you kill a boss, he stays dead. If your friend dies, it permanently changes the personal storyline. But what if I want to relive my personal story? Am I able to go back and kill that boss again? Am I able to relive my experiences without changing the outcome of my personal story? --Musha 14:47, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- No. You cannot, cannot repeat your personal story. You cannot take back events from your own life, and that is what GW2 is trying to emulate. Not trying to sound trolly or anything though. Kaon Frostblade 20:06, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

Characters
I didn't see anything about the maximum number of characters, you can make in Guild Wars 2, in the FAQ so I was wondering...Is there a maximum number of characters you can make? In certain servers or over the whole game? (I'm guessing if there is, then character slots will be purchaseable and available to unlock in expansion packs, hopefully coming later on?) If this was mentioned, my apoligies. 212.159.118.84 18:32, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

- I agree that they should give you 5 slots or maybe 8 or 40, 8 slots so that you could try each proffesion and the reason 40 is because then you can try every single combination. Or maybe they will have 5 slots and 8 sub-slot things within them? 86.137.47.146 18:32, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Many questions from User:209.173.96.85..
Why no monks?
The idea on no monks alone makes the game sound bad why did u guys take out monks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.173.96.85 (talk • contribs).
- Ok the reason they don't want any healers is
- A: Because they don't want anyone just to sit at the back of the party healing people and
- B: Because it wouldn't be compatible with their new reward system because it gives money and experience according to how much damage or effort they've put into taking down that creature. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
Professions?
Which 8 Professions will be in GW2? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.173.96.85 (talk • contribs).
We don't know at the moment we only know that there is Necromancer, Ranger, Elementalist and Warrior. If you go onto this website WWW.Guildwars2.com it will show you all of them. It also looks like there will be assassin and mesmer. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
Guilds?
How will guilds work? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.173.96.85 (talk • contribs).
NO MORE RANDOM DROPS?
Why no more random drops does that mean all items will be bought? Including pets and other items that are now not bought? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.173.96.85 (talk • contribs).
- Please do not make 4 new sections all at once. (Atleast let one section be made, and then let that section be answered before making a new one...)
- I'm going to answer them in the order posted on this question, to minimize RC spam...
- 1: Why not monks? The answer is quite simple. They want every class to be a standalone, unique, self dependant, and solo able. Not only would monks be difficult to play, but they are unnecessary as per the use of a designated heal slot.
- 2: Which Professions? Elementalist, Ranger, Necromancer and Warrior have all been confirmed. Mesmer is likely to be among them, but its state is currently unknown as of yet. The confirmed professions leave us with one more scholar (spellcaster type), two more adventurers (midline type) and one more soldier (frontline.) There are numerous forums for speculation on these.
- 3: Guilds? It is unknown how specifically guilds will work in the game, as we do not have access, however we *do* know that every character on an account can belong to a different guild.
- 4: Random Drops? Where did you get the impression that random drops are out. It does not say anywhere on this page that all items must be bought. And I'm pretty sure that there *will* be random drops.

- eyeball overload with all the new topics. Monks are out because everyone got tired of sitting in town saying GLF HB or GLF Mo to go, bleh, what a waste of gaming time. You can still play a support role with the current professions if thats what you are interested in (necro marks, ele water, etc). In regards to professions, Aqua said it nicely, but in case you need more information in the future, there is a page for that. There is also a page on guilds, but it appears to be in need of a clean-up. Venom20 04:44, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Also, it's worth noting that Arena is trying to break the Tank/DPS/Heal specialities, and therefore our notions of, say, what a "spellcaster type" can do may be out of date. For example, all official discussion of the Necromancer to date has focussed on their extreme durability, which is not traditionally a "spellcaster" attribute.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.96.201.176 (talk • contribs).

Races
If Norn can turn into animal forms and Asura can get into battlesuits what can the other races do? - Pretty much. Also, 86, if you don't know how to indent then you didn't read what I typed. You type colons (:) to indent, not the tab key. Type one more than the last person who posted before you. Easy. --ஸ Kyoshi 20:43, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

Asura Gates
I'm not sure where but somewhere it said about Asura Gates, I think it was on the GW2 Wiki only being open at certain times of day and on special events. I was wondering does this apply to all races so say one could open only at midday could an Asura use it at any time? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
- I'm sure so many people are tired of hearing this, but we do not know this information to date. EDIT: You are correct about the certain times of day, look at Asura Gate for that information. Apparently, portals need time to charge, so you can't go extremely long range without letting it charge up first. Kaon Frostblade 17:20, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Scaling Question
When scaling up using the Sidekick system will you be able to level up or obtain gear? if so, what happends when you go back to your actual level? and also how long can you be that higher level for and whats the point if your not going to gain any progress in the game? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 222.155.181.150 (talk • contribs).
- (In order): ("will you be able to level up or obtain gear") It is unknown as of yet about what effects the sidekick system will have on experience and loot.
("what happens when you go back to your actual level") See previous statement.
"How long can you be that higher level and whats the point" The specifics of this are also unknown. For World PvP, you remain the arbitrary level (it is also unknown) until you exit PvP. quest vs event
Are these two words interchanged? Is an event just another way of saying a quest? Whether it be a dynamic quest or a quest related to storyline, I'm wondering on this terminology. Venom20 06:02, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- As far as I have been informed, a quest is a typical receive>progress>complete objective, whereas an event is a typical encounter>prevail objective. - Infinite - talk 14:00, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- Correct. Quests in the traditional sense will only exist to move along your storyline, while events will take the place of what would normally be "side quests". --ஸ Kyoshi 23:06, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Do you think guild wars 2 has any competition against WoW? I mean on the guild wars 2 site they have even compared against goblins in the combat sections and stuff. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
- Well, we shouldn't really mention it, but it *is* rather obvious GW2 is trying to bite a chunk out of WoW's fanbase. Though imagining myself to be an avid WoW-fan, I'd be laughing at GW2 for being such a wannabe WoW. As GW-fan, though, I don't think WoW has any competition. Health
In the videos i have watched have you noticed that there seems to be tonnes of health reaching upto on a ma level charr 10,000 roughly but also the skills all seem to do around 400-500 per hit, but my question is why have they changed the general health and skill power?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.137.47.146 (talk • contribs).
- Before I answer, please visit your talkpage here, you have some messages you might've missed. As per the health matter, we can safely establish (due to it coming directly from ArenaNet) that GW2 will be nothing like GW1. Most of the game mechanics have changed rather drastically. In various footage, it can be observed that health is provided in numbers that reflect your playing style and level of play. An unskilled or just uninformed player could manage to deplete even over twice as much HP for their level and profession simply by not paying attention to the battlefield and the enemies. Health has been increased and altered to pull the game more towards generic MMORPGs. But the GW1 basics still apply; in some situations, less health can be gotten away with, in favour for armor or effects. In Guild Wars 2, proper and proficient gameplay can prove your Health to be more than enough, whereas new and naive gameplay can prove your health to be too little to manage. It also adds a feel of meaninglessness to it all. :) - Infinite - talk 19:29, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
- They added higher health and more dmg because it adds more diversity and can help balance things out, it also helps with the scaling of health with a higher level cap. - Giant Nuker 20:31, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
