Welcome[edit]
Hello Madhatter, welcome to GW2W!! I love you page design, btw. Also, I'm unsure if this was intentional, but your link for a new section above, currently is pointing to your GW1W page. Hope to see you around. Cheers!! Venom20 13:04, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi and thank you for the welcome.
Yes it was intentional as i'm a little too lazy at the moment to fill it all out! lol 13:2113 October 2010 (UTC)

- Well technically you aren't giving me more to do, you are just aiding in my procrastination. I really should be working on an assignment, but we all know that's not going to happen ;). Venom20 15:44, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- I helped ¬_¬ --Neil • 15:45, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Image Naming[edit]
While i know your (slightly) new here, remember to upload your images with "User: Madhatter" infront of the name, if you need anymore help or just clarification, post it below this message on this page, for a faster reply, post a new section on my Talk page, Happy Editing :3 --Neil • 15:45, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Your Sig :([edit]
Unfortunately it appears that I'm the bringer of bad news. Your signature, unfortunately, is not working. Well it's working in the sense that we can all see it and it looks nice, but the problem is that it is too large (height-wise). The recommended height I think is something like 18-20 pixels, but don't quote me on that. Essentially, you'd want a unique image for yourself that doesn't break the character line. We may have to find you another image, perhaps a hat. Or perhaps that fancy lettering without the hat (if you can do that). Venom20 21:11, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- It can be no higher than 19 pixels- any larger breaks line spacing. 21:57, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Ahh ok not a problem, will seek out my top hat :) lol --madhatter 22:53, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Nice hat Venom20 13:26, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- Why thank you Madhatter 14:23, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's nothing compared to my beret. ;) --Odal talk 14:48, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Character page[edit]
Howdy again! I just wanted to pop in and let you know that your character page is broken. Well it works, but all the lettering outside the page is tiny and out of place. This might cause problems for you in the future. You have 2 div's that aren't closed off. I spotted the problem because my sandbox was the same way (maybe slightly worse) when I was working on my character templates. Just thought I'd let you know. On a completely unrelated note, That hadhatter image at the top of each page currently links to the image. If you wanted to, you could remove the ability to link by doing this: [[File:User Madhatter logo.png|link=]]. Cheers! Venom20 13:37, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for letting me know I'm still learning how all this works to be honest so i appreciate you letting me know. Thank for the tip about the the madhatter image :)--Madhatter 14:55, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Colour coding[edit]
Would someone in the know point me in the right direcetion please? In my sand box im playing with the colours of my pages
My problem is i cant work out how to change the colour of the border and it driving me insane!LOL! --Madhatter 09:02, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- You'll probably have to add a border statement like border: ridge red; or border: dashed red; or border: dotted red;. You can also add a size like border: 3px ridge red; if you like. I'd stick it right after where you have defined your moz-border. Obviously you can change red to any colour (words or hex). Let me know if this helped or was even what you were looking for. Venom20 19:01, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- These will help, All the colours and a dictionary, by the looks of the title, you need it.--Neil • 19:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks Venom, that will do just nicely :) @Niel PMSL!!! I didnt even notice just proves what sleep deprivation can do to a person But thanks too :)--Madhatter 19:15, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Edits on your character pages[edit]
Relax! No big deal! It's just that you're clogging up Recent Changes a bit. Mind using 'preview changes' before you save? :) That way you can see how it turns out before actually saving it, which in turn reduces the number of edits, which in turn makes us Recent Changes stalkers happy! :D --Naoroji 16:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thats what i have been doing o.O /scratch head!....Oooooh im easily confused so please be kind to me lol --Madhatter16:57, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- I know how you feel Madhatter, I've probably pressed 'preview changes' a million times, still I seem to have more edits on recent changes than necessary.. :P -- Freyr | T 17:06, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
