Talk:Black Lion Garden Plot Deed
Buying this from the gem shop opens up the collection: Dedicated Gardener. Where you have to "loot" seed pouches from nodes in the world to unlock then on the npc. Once all are unlocked you get acces to some garden only typ seeds and recipes. DBZVelena | (Talk page) 19:07, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
I bought one plot, planted seeds, but I cannot find the Dedicated Gardener achievement. Anyone know which category it is in?
- Its in the black lion collection one. (obvious in hind sight)DBZVelena | (Talk page) 23:15, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
Feedback 2018/01/10: Seeds costing nothing?[edit]
At home instance, have garden, have gardener: I "buy" seeds from him, but it does not seem to cost anything. My amount of gold was same before and after. So it is not really "buying"? --Tilu 17:40, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- I updated the description stating the seeds are free, but some needs to be unlocked via a collection first. Sime (talk) 17:47, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Switching plants[edit]
Can you switch the plants that you're growing at any time (I expect yes)? Does changing the plant reset the cooldown (I.e. can I harvest immediately after planting, or only the next day, provided that I did not harvest the plants today already)? --Dark-Star (talk) 19:24, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- Yes. And, the dialog for the five gardeners has a question/answer for this as well. Daddicus (talk) 18:39, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Need some help chasing down the truth[edit]
I set up my gardens with a human character, expecting that it would just populate all of the home instances when he planted crops. However, two days later, I went in with a Charr to do the other home instance looting, and lo and behold, the garden wasn't planted. So, I planted four other crops.
Then, I went back in with a human, and was able to farm the four nodes I had planted earlier.
So, I added bullets to the notes saying all five home instances were independent. (This was premature, as you'll see below.)
Finally, I went in with an Asura, a Sylvari, and a Norn, but all of their beds were already growing crops. So, I took the independent bullets out of the notes.
However, I would other people to confirm or deny whether they are independent or not. Once planted or harvested, they all say "growing crops", so I can't tell what is growing in each plot. I suspect they're all the same as the Charr bed now, but I can't check until tomorrow.
Thanks! Daddicus (talk) 18:48, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
- This was fixed in the most recent update --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 07:06, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Account bound?[edit]
One question: Since this week, players coming to my home to farm nodes can no more gather the plants from the garden plots. Did it turn account bound with one of the last patches? Anyone know? Thank you. --Tilu 14:51, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
- Notes: The nodes can be gathered by anyone visiting the home instance, as long as the owner has not gathered them and exited the instance — upon reentering the home instance, the nodes will be unharvestable.. Sime (talk) 14:53, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you. Had not seen it. --Tilu 14:57, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
About the wiki page notes on this upgrade[edit]
The wiki page states "When you purchase a second deed, it is automatically populated with whatever is planted in your first plot." I found this not to be true in my case when I purchased my 2nd plot. Anyone to second this? did this change? maybe my case or the person who added the note had a bugged scenario? Shadow Axolotl 20:18, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
"Returning" in the table[edit]
In the table, there's a Notes column that says "returning". However, we don't define that or explain how we know. Should we? Daddicus (talk) 03:38, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- It's to denote the temporary availability of some Gem Store items. If anybody has a better word, phrase, etc. that is more self-explanatory, please do suggest. - Ojimaru (talk) 05:33, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
Gardener-purchased[edit]
Yes, gardener-purchased (and planted) plants can be harvested by anybody. Daddicus (talk) 00:46, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for confirming! —Idris 02:09, 6 September 2019 (UTC)
