Secrets in the Swamp is a meta event that takes place within and around the Godslost Swamp in Queensdale, involving fighting off invading Underworld creatures and destroying their portals in the area. A majority of the time the swamp will be dormant, until the three events around the swamp occur. Completing the final event against the Shadow Behemoth world boss yields a Demonic Chest, as well as a Bonus Chest for players at or above level 40, once per day per account.

The event chain to spawn the Shadow Behemoth world boss occurs at nightfall every 2 hours at xx:45 (on the odd hours for UTC server time), alternating on the shared hourly time slot with the Thaumanova Reactor Fallout (Fire Elemental) occuring during the day. The three initial pre-events to destroy portals in the Heartwoods (
Greatheart Weald — northwest of the swamp), Eldvin Monastery — (north) and Taminn Foothills (east) will start at the same time. The subsequent events in the swamp occur just north of
