Public instance

Public instances^[1] (squad mission^[2], instanced group encounter^[3]^[1], world boss encounter or meta event encounter^[4] ) are special instances available either for a private and public squads for 50-80 players.

Accessing public instances[edit]

Available to all players

Living World Season 1 public instances can be accessed via the Mist Stranger in Eye of the North.

Expansions required

The Icebrood Saga public instance can be accessed by talking to Brek Harrowflight in Eye of the North.
- The Path of Fire expansion is required.

Secrets of the Obscure public instance can be accesed via the Convergences portal at The Wizard's Tower in Rift Hunter Lounge.

Janthir Wilds public instance can be accesed via the Convergence: Mount Balrior portal in the Harvest Den in Lowland Shore.
