- A rough analysis of past March sales yields the following observed patterns and predictions (Disclaimer: Take it with a grain of salt, everything is subject to change.):
- The Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic, the Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic, Bag Slot Expansions, Bank Tab Expansions, Name Change Contracts, the Path of Fire Preparation Pack, Black Lion Chest Keys, Instruments, Shared Inventory Slots and Character Slot Expansions are consistently part of the sale.
- High-in-demand items like Character Slot Expansions and Bank Tab Expansions are usually offered on weekends.
- Two sets of unlimited Gathering tools are usually discounted during the whole sale.
- Historical (valid until the 2018 sale)
- There was one finisher offered per sale.
- One of the permanent passes (e.g. Royal Terrace Pass) was usually part of the sale, though it was most likely not discounted.
- At least one skin was offered within the span of 7 days.
- Most of the time an item was discounted by 20%.
- The biconic weapons (and backpacks) were always part of the sale.
- Black Lion Chest Keys, Transmutation Charges, Bank Access Expresses, Instant Repair Canisters, Miniatures, and either the Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic were consistently part of the sale.
- Items that are expected or observed to sell well were unlikely to be discounted. In the rare case that they were though, the discount was relatively low (~10%).
- Similarly, items that are expected or observed to sell less well would have been further discounted (up to 50% generally).
