Mechanics[edit]

The locked bag slot.
  • This upgrade does not apply to the entire account. Each character must purchase their own bag slot expansions.
  • Free accounts start with 3 bag slots already unlocked and can unlock 11 more per character.
  • Full accounts start with 5 bag slots already unlocked and can unlock 9 more per character.
  • Each character can have up to 15 bag slots in total, including the bag slot holding the starter backpack.
  • Each character start with a 20-slot Universal Multitool Pack.pngStarter Backpack bag occupying the very first bag slot.
  • The Bag Slot Expansion comes with Leather Bag.pngLeather Bag.
  • There is no way to recover the slots when a character is deleted.

Trivia[edit]

  • This item was removed from the game on February 4, 2013. It was returned to the Gem Store on the February 21, 2013 update.
  • With the October 17, 2017 update, the limit of bags per character has been raised by two for a total of 10 (previously 8).
  • The maximum number of bag slots available per character was increased from 10 to 12 with the December 13, 2022 update.
  • The maximum number of bag slots was increased again from 12 to 14 with the release of Secrets of the Obscure.
  • The maximum number of bag slots was further increased from 14 to 15 with the release of Janthir Wilds.
