- On each swing, has a 33% chance to reward a bonus Watchwork Sprocket in addition to the gathering results (via Glyph of the Watchknight).
- The gathering animation causes the node to spark with electricity then trigger an explosion of scrap metal.
- The original version (which has no glyph but has the glyph's effect built-in) may be traded for the version with a glyph at a Black Lion Exchange Specialist. The tool must be unequipped first.
