Inscriptions are used in the crafting of weapons by artificers, huntsmen, and weaponsmiths. The inscription used determines the prefix of the weapon it is used on, and gives the weapon specific bonuses. Unlike sigils, an inscription cannot be applied or modified after a weapon is created.

Base Materials

Inscriptions are made from different base materials, higher level armor requiring higher-level base materials. Further, Inscriptions can either be Ordinary or Plated, the Plated Inscriptions being required for the crafting of the higher level weapons for that base material. Plated inscriptions provide more powerful bonuses as their standard counterparts, in the same attribute(s).
