Parameters[edit]
- name
- Optional. Name of the trinket, only use if different from article name (defaults to
{{PAGENAME}}
). - icon
- Optional. Inventory icon, only use if file is named differently from the article (defaults to
{{PAGENAME}}.png
). - type
- Required. The type of trinket: accessory, amulet, ring, or relic.
- level
- Required. Level to equip trinket.
- stat level
- Optional. The level used to calculate the item's stats, if different from required level.
- description
- Optional. In-game description.
- hint
- Optional. Used only for collection items that display hint text
- prefix
- The nomenclature prefix that describes the attribute bonuses on the trinket. Automatically sets the attribute bonuses in the description based on {{item stat lookup}} and {{prefix attributes}}. Use variables instead if the item's stats do not match a standard prefix.
- variables
- benefits of the trinket (i.e. power, damage, vitality, etc.). Use the {{item stat}} in this variable when the item has non-standard variables, otherwise use prefix.
- uslot
- Optional. Item present in the trinket's upgrade slot, by default the slot will be empty. Can be set to "empty" to force empty upgrade slot. The upgrade slot will not be displayed if no is entered. Upgrade slot is also not displayed by default for ascended items.
- infusion slot
- Optional. Set equal to "y" if the item has a core infusion slot. Can be set to an item page to show that item in the infusion slot.
- enrichment slot
- Optional. Set equal to "y" if the item has an enrichment slot (for ascended amulets).
- attuned
- Optional. Set equal to "y" if the item has been attuned to provide an additional infusion slot.
- infused
- Optional. Set equal to "y" if the item has been infused to provide an additional infusion slot.
- categorize
- Optional. n to skip auto-categorization. Rarely used but useful for corner-case pages. If using "status", don't set this parameter.
- status
- Optional. Status of content. Only set if not currently obtainable ingame, displays relevant notice. Available options: "historical", "discontinued", "future", "unimplemented", "current" (default).
- status notes
- Optional. Allows provision of additional reason for the given status.
- status date
- Optional. Sets the date of the update that marked this skill as historical (in YYYY-MM-DD format).
- requires
- Optional. The expansion or living world season required to access the content. Displays a notice of the release. See {{infobox requires}} for options.
Parameters handled by {{Default item parameter}} template[edit]
- collection
- Optional. If the item is part of any collections, separated by ";".
- prefix
- Optional. The nomenclature prefix that describes the attribute bonuses on the item. Automatically sets the attribute bonuses in the description based on {{item stat lookup}} and {{prefix attributes}}. Use only if the item's stats match a standard prefix.
- rarity
- Optional. Defaults to 'Unspecified'. rarity: junk, basic, fine, masterwork, rare, exotic, ascended, legendary.
- level
- Optional. Required level to use the item.
- mastery
- Optional. Required mastery to use the item.
- race
- Optional. Required race to use item. Currently only used for cultural armor and cultural weapons.
- unique
- Optional. Whether the item is unique. "y" for yes, omit parameter if no.
- salvage
- Optional. The type of salvage that is applicable, per Salvage types. Options: standard, ascended, research, compost, none. Where multiple salvage types are possible (e.g. food is both compost and research), separate options with a comma.
- bound
- Optional. Under what conditions the item becomes bound. Do not specify if item is not bound. Options:

- tradable
- Optional. Set by item infobox, directly influences and overrides the display of the cost parameters.
- cost
- Optional. Currency cost of the item when purchased from a vendor.
To match it to the display in any vendor window, use the amount and the appropriate icon template, e.g. {{coin|500}}, 500 {{item icon|zhaitaffy}}, or 500 {{token|Guild Commendation}} - value
- Optional. The number of coins a vendor will pay for this item; use only the number, since the template assumes copper coins.
- id
- Optional. The item id. Does allow multiple ids to be set by using a comma-separated list.
- other ids
- Optional. Other item ids that are not displayed as chat links.
- skin id
- Optional. If given, an additional skin chat link will be displayed above the item chat link.
