Experience gained[edit]
The page says it keeps your level %, however I strongly contest this. I used it at just over 50% through level 77 (to progress to 78), and I retained the *exact* number of xp pts as progress into 78. Consequently the xp bar was just below 50% progress after use. I had 113,333 pts before and after using this tome, so mathematically, it is slightly advantageous to use these tomes at the very very start of a level.. I think. Puk (talk) 09:32, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- Also I've used several of them at once and gained Lifetime Survivor title, so this probably just adds full level of XP when used 99.234.44.246 00:23, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- if you see something you don't think is right, be bold and edit, if its wrong someone will soon revert it back, i know that note to be incorrect so ive changed it myself. Spark 16:30, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- I would like to second this: I regularly use tomes to level up. When I use several in a row, after using some, the bar is clearly no more at same status of filling, with the gap increasing upon each new tome I use. I would be happy if we could we get a confirmation. --178.193.231.9 04:33, 4 September 2016 (UTC)

- That's exactly what the page already says --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 05:29, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
No mention of Miyani selling spirit shard bags for these tomes[edit]
Shouldn't this be mentioned, in one way or another? - J.P.Talk 01:12, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
Text in the icon[edit]
It seems to be New krytan, but I can't figure out what it says. Can anyone see it? I'd be nice to have in in the page's Trivia. Mith🌟Talk 19:07, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
- There appear to be four symbols on the icon, which look approximately like a C, an opentail g, a backwards t, and an upside-down semi-colon. None of these symbols seem to resemble anything in New Krytan, or any other script I could find from GW1 or GW2. I think it might just be random shapes designed to give the impression of writing. —Idris 19:50, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
