"ability to view all locked dyes in the wardrobe"[edit]
Ok, I'm not spotting how to access this new feature, anyone found the change yet? Really hoping it provides a more convenient means of being able to preview both armours and dye combos them without having to have vials of dye in your inventory or the fuss of searching the TP etc (which is fiddly trying to get the dyes in the same order as would want to apply in the Hero:Dyes panel etc). --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 01:50, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- The same cog which lets you switch between sets also shows and hides the locked dyes. Tyndel (talk) 02:10, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- Ohhh, it's in the Hero:Dyes panel, jeeze Anet made that confusing, I was looking on the Hero:Wardrobe and the Banker > Wardrobe Storage panels, not the Dyes panel. hehe, say the word "wardrobe" and I logically went to look under the wardrobe views. silly me! :D Thanks T. --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 02:45, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Approximate download size[edit]
Should we be putting the approximate download size in increments of 10 mb instead so we dont get into the revert wars? Although people may get mad about this, it is reasonable to have a 1-2% deviation from a approximate value which we say is rounded to the next 10MB?A Liability (talk) 08:35, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- If you search back through the game update archives, it's been discussed a number of times (more so in the earlier days). Unfortunately there was no discernible pattern to the differences (ie, not just a "1-2%" deviation). As I mentioned on your talkpage, it would definitely be helpful if there were some way (I for one was on a pay-by-MB plan at the time, so if could have known ahead of time the download size, would have been very helpful), however, each time it just degenerated into a non-consensus, so we've generally just steered clear of the problem. So case of, yeah good intent, but it just got too difficult. --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 09:15, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- This has come up several times over the years, however this discussion was the one that most strongly stuck in my memory. Hope that helps put a bit of history context to the issue for you. :) --Wolfie (talk|contribs) 09:32, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
