Routes without mounts[edit]
How can one get to the Western Ward and the Commodore's Quarter one without mounts? I can't find a way :/ -- kazerniel (talk) 22:48, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- The jump puzzle will probably let you drop down to those areas, though that's a lot of effort to go to just for the rats. I'm not sure if there's any other way up there without a mount. --Idris (talk) 22:52, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- The Western Ward one is directly on the path of Troll's Revenge between the third and the fourth stash, and the Commodore's Quarter one can be reached without glider or mount after passing Rahn. Most likely both can also be reached with Advanced Gliding from the top of the lighthouse, as that can be used to reach all 4 stashes --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 03:27, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

- The lighthouse method doesn't seem to work on all stashes, I only managed to reach the 2nd stash with that, none of 1 or 3. (I'm not even sure how one could glide to the 4th from the lighhouse, it's bloody far away.) With some youtube guides I managed to get the 1st and the 3rd stashes, but can't get to the Western Ward Lost Rat, and I can't proceed further in the JP, so overall a fruitless endeavour :S --kazerniel (talk) 22:05, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
- Okay I was remembering incorrectly for the lighthouse cheat. It can reach stash 1 and 2 with little difficulty (stash 1 you land on the lobster and backtrack) but not the whole puzzle. Anyway, there's another option that's available, which I documented on Troll's Revenge way back in the day. You can basically skip to stash #4 from the ground by climbing onto the crafting station starfish and jumping across some rooftops, and then use a shortcut that's built into the puzzle to skip the whole Commodore's Quarter section between 3 and 4 to easily reach #4. Then you just backtrack into Commodore's Quarter from there and you're literally right above the rat. Go check out Troll's Revenge and look at the chest #4 Shortcut and Shortcut from the ground sections, they have pictures to help you. Use an engineer with a rifle for Jump Shot to get onto the starfish (aim far away to the left). Or just beg in chat for someone to port you to them, that's probably the easiest option --Gimmethegepgun (talk) 00:09, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
