Skyscale of Fear is part of the Saving Skyscales achievements to unlock the Skyscale mount.

1	The Nature of Fear	Item	Trophy	Hint: Speak with Orson at Demon's Maw in Lornar's Pass. From  Demon's Maw Waypoint — , head east towards Ettinworks Lab and speak with Orson.
2	Astraphobia	Item	Trophy	Hint: Get hit by a Brandstorm. Get hit by lightning while under the effect of  Fury of the Brand. From Domain of Vabbi  Market Ruins Waypoint — , exit the shield and wait until lightning strikes.
3	Glossophobia	Item	Trophy	Hint: Teach the class at Vehtendi Academy in the Domain of Vabbi, near the Vehtendi Academy Waypoint. Complete the event Speak from the lectern to lecture against Joko's brainwashing before the instructor arrives( Vehtendi Academy Waypoint — ). During the event a "teach" action pops up at the lectern. The item is acquired once the event ends. You answer some questions correctly from the podium and kill awakened along the way.
4	Alektorophobia	Item	Trophy	Hint: Get attacked by angry chickens at Ebonhawke in Fields of Ruin. Attack chickens in the farm south of  Fallen Angels Garrison Waypoint — until Angry Chickens appear. The achievement is complete when the character receives damage from an Angry Chicken.
5	Acrophobia	Item	Trophy	Hint: Get to the very top of the wall in Blazeridge Steppes. Turn south from  Lowland Burns Waypoint — . Use your Springer to jump up to the top of the wall (including the floating pieces) at Monument Grounds to acquire the collection item. To jump far enough for the final jump, hold the forward motion key ("W") while charging the jump. If you try interacting with the collection item while still mounted, you may fall down while dismounting. Dismount at the center of the pillar before interacting.

Trivia

• While at the top of the wall in Blazeridge Steppes, the Shatterer will occasionally fly just over the heads of the character.
• The types of fear used for this achievement:
  • Astraphobia — fear of thunder and lightning
  • Glossophobia — fear of public speaking
  • Alektorophobia — fear of chickens
  • Acrophobia — fear of heights
