Mechanics[edit]
New thief characters start with this skill unlocked. This skill's passive effect triggers when a condition is applied or when strike damage is dealt. If the same attack applies both conditions and damage, the passive effect only triggers once. However, skills that affect multiple targets trigger the passive effect for each target hit.
- Summoned allies, such as the thieves from the Thieves Guild elite skill, will trigger the passive effect when attacking.
- Specters targeting allies with their Scepter weapon skills will trigger the passive effect, except for Endless Night.
- The base healing done by the active portion of this skill is equal to
(75 + Level^2 * 0.5)
. - The base healing done by the passive portion of this skill is equal to
(4 + Level^2 * 0.02)
.

Deadeye
- Payback — When Renewing Gaze triggers, this trait restores a portion of the recharge time needed by your healing, utility, and elite skills. Excludes racial skills.
