Protect the Cathedral of Zephyrs is a level 79 event that occurs in Cathedral of Zephyrs. A Risen Lieutenant appears and ascends up the stairs to Altar of Tempests, slaying any NPCs in the way. This event starts automatically after the temple has remained opened for nearly two hours.

Preventing the Risen Lieutenant from claiming the altar will keep the temple in control of the Pact.
