The Portalforge Lab is an Inquest lab inside the Invariant Enclave on the southernmost Sandswept Isle. As its name implies, this lab is used to experiment with non-asura gate portal technologies. The portal technology is very similar to the Interspatial Translocator and its stationary variant.
During the story mission the Road to Rata Primus, the lab has to be entered to destroy the shield generator within, which maintains part of the shield around Rata Primus.
Getting there[edit]
The entrance to the lab is located at the northern end of the Invariant Enclaves' deck, on a downward sloping floor, roughly southwest of where the point of interest is seen on the map.
Notes[edit]
- Mounts are forbidden within the lab, a message will display if you try to enter while mounting: "The Inquest have contaminated this area, making it inhospitable for mounts. You have been dismounted."
Trivia[edit]
- The use of red and blue portals is likely a reference to the Portal series.
