King Wisp
King Wisp
“Being graced by a visit from the king wisp is the highest honor. It is akin to a Voice beholding Koda in your tribes.
The King Wisp is a large and powerful leader of the wisps who resides in a hidden alcove above Hibernation Grotto in Lowland Shore. He can communicate in Tyrian and can sense the magical potential in a being.
Biography[edit]
The King Wisp, like the rest of his kind, was believed by the trolls of Lowland Shore to be a link between realms, and those that could see the wisps were revered among the trolls. Even some lowland kodan believed in his existence although few had ever laid eyes on him.
Following the Pact Commander's investigation of wisp sightings which led to them escorting various wisps to locations that revealed hidden treasures, the kodan Head Archivist Stalwart Heart and Valiant Aria sought out local trolls in Bagoo Cave to learn more about the wisps and their purpose. The trolls told the trio about the King Wisp and his supposed location although the trolls refused to elaborate on it further after growing annoyed with constant questions.
Valiant Aria recognized the location being somewhere in Hibernation Grotto, and the Commander investigated the cave where they found a helpful wisp. This wisp guided the Commander to the hidden alcove above where the King Wisp and other smaller wisps, which had played with the Commander earlier, lay in wait. After the Commander had bowed to show their respect to wisp royalty, the King Wisp's voice spoke in fluent Tyrian as the greater wisp thanked the Commander for keeping his kin company and expressing hope that the Commander had found the journey a rewarding one.
