Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented the Mini Bear Cub from being purchased from the Black Lion Statuette Merchant.
• Fixed an issue that prevented Knife Tail Gang skritt from dropping loot.
• The Mystery Cooking Ingredient Box mistakenly included Cordyceps as a possible ingredient. This ingredient has been removed.

Black Lion Trading Company Gem Store

Updates

• Evon Gnashblade has returned from his vacation. The Black Lion Trading Company would like to note that many members of the company can verify his whereabouts and that clearly any timing that may relate to shocking spikes in skritt deaths is purely coincidental.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug in which Knife Tail skritt could appear in PvP matches. Also removed the ability to rally from these skritt.

Update - August 27, 2019

General

• The maximum rating for the chef discipline has been increased to 500.
  • Upon reaching 425 chef rating, players will attract the attention of a notorious chef who will guide them toward grandmaster status.

• Herb nodes across Tyria have had their outputs adjusted. All herb nodes will now have four possible outputs, varying by region and map level.
• Verdant Herbs nodes have been added to Lake Doric.
• Jungle Plants in the Maguuma region now have a chance to produce Lemongrass and Cloves.
• All foods below ascended rarity have had their effect durations standardized to 30 minutes. Many recipes have been adjusted to reduce material costs appropriately for foods that previously provided longer effect durations.
• A search bar has been added to the Discovery tab in the crafting station panel.

• Casino Coins: This item has been given a Consume All right-click option.
• Coriander Seeds: Updated the icon to be actual seeds.
• Diver's Breathers: The names of the three Diver's Breather breathing apparatus skins have been corrected in the Wardrobe to accurately reflect their armor pieces.
• Superior Rune of Tormenting: The combat log will now display this rune as the source of its healing effect.
• Rune of Altruism: Corrected the icon for the legendary version of this rune.
• Rune of Nature's Bounty: Corrected the icon for the legendary version of this rune.
• Rune of the Stars: Corrected the icon for the legendary version of this rune.

Profession Skills

Engineer

•  Jump Shot: Fixed a bug that prevented this skill from applying its listed vulnerability stacks.

Mesmer

•  Healing Prism: Fixed a bug that could cause this trait to have no cooldown while players were in the downed state.

Warrior

•  Versatile Power: Fixed a bug that prevented the burst recharge reduction from displaying on the Hero panel.

• The Customer Appreciation Package with one Black Lion Chest and one Black Lion Chest Key returns for the anniversary at no cost for one week only. Limit one per account. This is only available to players with Core, Heart of Thorns™, or Path of Fire™ accounts.

• The New Horizons Supply Drop Requisition is available in the Utility category of the Gem Store for a discounted price of 2,400 gems. To celebrate the seventh anniversary of Guild Wars 2 and gear up for the next chapter of Living World, using this item enrolls your account to receive four weekly supply drops between now and mid-September.
  • Here's what each New Horizons Supply Drop will contain:
    • Week of August 27: One New Horizons Mount Select License, your choice of one Exotic Breeds, Desert Racer, Distant Lands, or Istani Isles mount select license or a New Horizons Mount Adoption License, one Endless Ocean Weapon Select Box, and two Knife Tail Gang Hunting Bonds.

Black Lion Chest

• The Black Lion Chest has been updated to the Seventh Anniversary Chest and can be previewed for a full list of its contents.
  • The Seventh Anniversary Black Lion Present has been added as the guaranteed item for the duration of this chest.
  • The new Watchwork Wings Package is available as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Starborn Outfit remains available as an uncommon drop for the duration of this chest.
  • The Shifting Sands Weapon Collection and Mordrem Weapon Collection are available as uncommon and rare drops respectively for the duration of this chest.
  • The Black Lion Exclusives Chest returns as a rare drop for the duration of the Seventh Anniversary Chest. The chest has been updated with 10 exclusive items from the Black Lion Chest.
  • Unused versions of the Glyph of the Tailor and Glyph of the Leatherworker are available as rare drops for the duration of this chest.
  • The items available in exchange for Black Lion Statuettes have been updated. Black Lion Statuettes are redeemable by using the statuette itself or by redeeming one at any of the Black Lion Chest Merchants located in every major city.
    • A new selection of baby miniatures has been added.
    • The exclusive Etherbound Package, the Hydra Staff, and the Mini Dwayna's Messanger[sic] have been added.
    • Additional items including the White Wings, Black Wings, Hawk Wings, and Macaw Wings backpack and glider combos and the Choya gathering tools have been added.

• Completing the new Gourmet Training achievement unlocks some new features:
  • Ability to salvage craftable food consumables with a Portable Composter.
  • A free garden plot for the home instance in which ascended herbs may be grown.
  • A free cooking station in the home instance for chef characters above level 425.
